Do we Know What happens When The Shepherds are The Sheep, and The Sheep act like Goats?! Do we Want to Know What happens When Goats are Shepherds Pompasetting and Wearing Pretty Judas Coats? Do we Want to Know What happens When Goats Lead Sheep, and Shepherds Bleat and Even Eat Meat? Did you Know that When a Sheep Eats Meat He has Got Fangs and Hangs Around with That Wicked Satan? Weeellllll ... I Met a Shepherd A Shepherd of The Sheep Who was Not The Owner And who Willingly Cut Truth's Corners! He hung out with Fiends - those Creatures so Mean And Spoke often ... it seems Of Meat Succulent and Lean Having been Fed on The Green Where Cooling Waters Stream. I Listened with Interest, and Wondered Then I Grew Flabbergasted As with Malice True Sheep were Pounded And The Death-Sirens Sounded And Lambs were Grounded Down with The Spurious Truth that was Curious to Boot Giving The Shepherd The Loot To Buy Expensive Suits To Appear on The Air Pretending to Give a Care About Where The Souls of The Poor The Innocent The Seeking Would Spend Eternity While Caviar he is Eating And Unrighteous Riches he is Reaping! That Shepherd Looked at My Face Walked Around And Stood a Pace From My Body And - too Jovially - Explained:

I Listened! In Fact I Wished He'd Take it Back That He was just Giving me Flack But, Alas, and Alack This Steward Was a Coward Who Preached Faith But didn't Know The Lord And his Sworn Task Was to Pull The Gold Cord Of The Seeking Soul Looking for The Word of The Lord! His Mission was to Feed Self To Lay Aside Treasure on The Shelf To Live Large In Good Health While Accumulating Worldly Wealth! He Didn't Seem To Care or Try to Understand That God Almighty Is NOT a Man That All That He Has Said He Will Do He Will Do! ... HE WILL DO! "Don't YOU Read your Bible? Don't YOU Know Right from Wrong? Don't YOU Know Jesus Christ is Coming Down? Don't YOU Understand that The Trumpet Will Indeed Sound? Don't YOU Believe that we ALL have a Judgment Round And Every Human Must Give An Account However Wherever he is Found?!" "Don't YOU Believe in God? Don't YOU Fear God!" He Stiffened ... I Raised My Eyebrow. He Turned ... I Tilted My Head. He Opened his Mouth as if to ... I Held My Breath. He Walked ... away ... breathing audibly ... I Bowed My Head and Prayed.
But Not for Gadding About and Walking to Hell on a Roiling Sea!
I have Ears!
But Not to be Tickled, nor for Listening to Lying Divinations!
I've Got King Jesus!
You MUST Believe That You've Got King Jesus!
We can Trust IN and ON King Jesus!
Please ... Hold on to your Faith in Jesus Christ!
He has got Good Legs!
He's got The Blood that Bought Your Pardon!
He's got The Hands wherein you find Shelter!
He's got The Voice that Rebukes your Storms!
And He's got The Living Love that we Need
And He Daily, Daily, Feeds
So, Give Him a Chance, and
He will Fix You ... and Your Need!
Remember ... You ARE The Apple In His Eyes!
Reach Out to Jesus ... TODAY!

I really gained something from that Sermon! What about you? Gain!? What gain?! He preached! I heard! He preached well. That's it! Oh, dear ... Did I miss something?!! What did you hope to Achieve today? Achieve?! Yes! Achieve! How have you benefited from being here today? Hmm ... Let's see ... Church day - No work Talk to the Brethren - Mission Trip coming up Enjoy the music - I would pay good money to hear those singers again!! Be Emotionally aroused - I got Goosies!! Eat good food - lunch was off the chain! Fellowship with my friends - did you hear about Sis. Aimey?! Yup! That's about it! Oh, dear ... Whaaat?! What about the "Good" stuff?" You know ... Communion with Christ Fellowship with the Father Comfort of the Holy Spirit Healing! Help! Reunion! Peace! Rest! Restoration! Edification! Elevation! You know? All the superlative benefits of "Having Faith in Jesus Christ!" Oh, thaaat! I am not a Holy Roller like you! My Faith is not like yours! You're strong! Strong?!! What does strong have to do with Faith! You either have Faith, or you don't! Don't you Read your Bible? Or perhaps you missed the part about Faith as BIGGGGG as a Mustard Seed?! Child, a Mustard Seed Faith is more Beneficial to you than a strong arm! When I come to Church Service, I come Expecting to be Blessed! I expect to Gain, you know, Profit from being here because I believe what the Bible says "...where two or three are gathered in my Name," there is The Lord. If you have Faith, then the Word of God has The Life, but A lack of Faith deprives The Word of Its Life, and you become just a Hearer Loser. I am a Hearer Gainer. I Trust God - through Jesus Christ - to give me something, and He does! Every day! Come on, Sis.! Try Trust! Till The Word! Reap a Blessing! If your Ground is Fallow Your Faith will be Shallow! If God is All You won't play with Satan's Ball! If Sin is your Date You'll suffer Satan's Fate! Give Trust and Faith in God a Try And you'll be at Home With Jesus, by and by! I am Living In Hope, and I'm using my Faith to grease The Way!
"I've paid a heavy price for My Faith but You know what? Jesus is now running My Show! You see, I made up My Mind For He said that He Is Divine, so I Decided to Trust Him, and Now My Worry is in Decline! What about y'all?'
"Knee! - I Pray" "Jerk! - I React!" "Knee-Jerk! I Pray AND React!" "Wow! I know whatcha mean! Been There! Done That! Misery was My Companion and I was ready for the Tin-foil Hat!"
Sitting out there upon "The Shelf" Is The Problem with Christian-By-Self:

Trust Jesus! - Jesus is The Shepherd! Lean On The Spirit! - The Spirit is for Help in Prayer! Read The Holy Bible! - It's The Captain's Word! Depend on Him! - Our God Truly Provides Care!

Father, I know what I was without You
A sinner without You who anything would do
But, You met Me in The Way
You said: "Child, There you cannot stay!"
And I from that world walked away!
I do not brag but
I thank You, Lord, for casting that Bag Full of My Sin
Into Your Forgetfulness Sea -
You promised it shall not to Your Memory return and
You promised You will not me spurn
So, please, keep Teaching this Child, Lord
For I need Your Lessons for Gaining Eternal Life to daily learn.
