The Choir
I sing in an earthly choir
A beautiful voice giving praise
To the Lord of the Jerusalem temple,
Attired in simple brocades.
I love to sing beautiful music
And hope to sing in a heavenly choir
Of voices mixed with those of the Angels
Resplendent in raiment of gold.
I long to sing a song for my Jesus
In the Land with no night there
Where there’s no competition or jealousy
And no one will call my voice fair.
I will sing “Holy” with the Angels
Such music as never been heard
Bedecked in garments so regal
