There was a Knock on My Door!
I Opened it!
My Visitor Asked:

 "May I Enter?"

I said:

"Sure!
Welcome!
Come on in!"

I Offered Him The Place of Honor!
He Looked Right Regal There!
He Offered Up A Prayer of Blessing
AND
Proceeded To Teach Me About Godly Fear!

He Expounded On
Faith
Hope
Trust
Mercy
Glory and Grace!

He Spoke Urgently of 
Sin
Confession
Repentance
Salvation
AND
Setting Aside
Ungodly
Sinful Lusts!

He Spoke of The Father
The Mansions of Rest
AND
He Called Me Blessed
AND
Treated Me To Words of Hope
To Hold Me Up
Until The Day
When New Life Is Mine For 
Keeping The Blessed Hope!

He Said:

"I Love You!" 

I Told Him I Loved him, Too!

He Asked If His Spirit Could Move In and
I said: 

"Yes! I Have Room For Him!"

He Told Me To Let His Spirit
Keep His Place Safe and 
Comfortable and
Warmly Lit
For
He Had Some Others To Visit
Those My brothers and Sisters
From Other Flocks Of Lambs and Sheep
Out in The World Forlorn!

I said: 

"Blessings!
I'll Stay Here
AND 
By Your Grace
I'll Your Love Be Professing
To All and The Sundry
The Poor
The Peaceful
The Proud!
I'll Sing Your Praises!
I Will Sing Out Loud!"

He said: 

"Let My Spirit In You Hold Sway
For
He Will Lead You 
Guide You and 
Interpret Your Every Prayer!

I Am Your Holy Shepherd
Gentle
Kind
Loving 
AND
Just as I Am
You Be To The Brethren
AND
One Day Soon
We Will In Glorious Reunion Meet!"
