Stands On The Living Word Of 

The Word Who Is Jesus Christ The Holy Lord!

One Of Them Is, Indeed, A Learner
Willing To Submit Himself To The Molding Of
The Great Teacher!

The Other Is A Great Hindrance

Totally Submitted To Almighty God

Under No Circumstance
Does He Seek To Enlarge His Stature
By Lowering The Stature Of The Lord Christ!

By Great Contrast
Too Self-Sufficient
- Completely Satisfied With His Vast
And Cerebral Knowledge Of Christ's Christianity -
Seeks At Every Turn To Insinuate Himself
Between Men's Souls And Their Savior!

He Is A Whirling Dervish
Who Acts Like A Circus Clown
Speaks Like A United Nation's Diplomat
Reasons Like A Wall Street Banker-Broker
And Commiserates Like The Old-Time Family Physician!

He Thinks He Can Make Satan
- Like A Tame Dog -
Happily Lie Down!

He Is A Peacock 

Who Lives The Reverse-Robin Hood Life 

With Himself Being On The Receiving End Of 

The Congregation's Loving Largesse!

Humble Teachable Spirit
Often Offends
- Often Greatly Offends The Congregation -
Because
His Simple, Always Available To The Lord Attitude
Indicts Them For Their Wayward
Delighted-By-The-World Willfulness!

He Is The Burr Under Their Saddle
The Pebble In Their Shoe
The Blister On Their Toe
The Stye On Their Eye
The Questioner Who Causes The Lump 

To Form In Their Throats
The One Who Makes Them Question 

The Professed Reason For Their Hope!

He Makes Them Uncomfortable In Their Own Skin
While Too Self-Sufficient
- Who Feels He Is The Second-Coming -

He Had Just Finished Fluffing His Bank Book
When Inquiry Was Made By His Spirit

- Not Easily Spooked By, In His Thinking, A Phantasm -
Was Having None Of It!

Where Is Your Shame!?! 

What, Really, Is Your Life's Work!?! 

Weren't You Called To Serve The Savior!?!

Why Do You With The Devil Flirt!?!

You Can't Serve Almighty God And Mammon!

You Can't Belong To Heaven And To Hell!

You Can't Feed The People Self, Sin And Salvation

And

Believe That For You Things Will Go Well!

Spooked, He Shook Himself Roundly!
Afraid, He Sought Relief By Counting The Days To His Next Payday
But, ConscienceActivated By The Holy Spirit
Was Through Being A Patsy
A Companion In The Game Of Life
For Fleeting Profit!

His Conscience Was Shook
And
His Self
- Normally Winsomely Wayward -
Was Suddenly On Fire
And
Ever So Brightly Lit!

There Was No Rest For The Wicked!
His Home Was No Haven Of Rest

And
His Prepared Sermon Was Taunting Him
As Was The Music Playing
On His Heirloom Gramophone!

Stuff And Nonsense!
Stuff And Nonsense!
My Minds Is Playing Tricks On Me
Is What I Say! 

I am Lord Of My Own Life!
I Am Rich In Goods!
There Is Nothing Else That I Need!
The Bible Is The Tool Of My Trade
So When I Put It Down
I Can Do What I Want

And From This Guilty Conscience 

I Will Walk Away!

Bedroom Living Room
Bathroom Car
Inside Outside
Self And Guilty Conscience 

Did Viciously Spar!

Man Can Run
Man Can Even Hide From His Problems
But
Man Cannot From A Guilty Conscience Hide!

It Must Be Said ...

If A Man's Conscience
Can Still Disturb His Peace
It Is Because There Is Still Hope For Him

That From The Ways Of Sinning

By God's Grace

He Will Assuredly Leave!

Too Self-Sufficient's Conscience 

Had Not Yet Become Seared
With A Hot Iron!

Brethren,

Please, I Beseech
When Your Conscience Awakes You
To Matters Of Gravitas
Pay Attention
Give Thanks To The Living God
And
Get To Fixing What Ails Your Soul!

The Truth Must Be Spoken ...

The Spirit Of The Living God
Convinces Men Of Sin
Convinces Men Of Salvation
And
Convinces Men Of Judgment!

If You Do Not Stifle Your Conscience
The Spirit Of The Living God
- The Comforter -
Can Do A Good Work In And With You!

Too Self-Sufficient Was About To Have
A "When Thou Art Converted
Help The Brethren!" Moment!

All I Can Tell You About That Moment
Is That The Next Time
Too Self-Sufficient Appeared Before 

The Faithful Souls Congregation
He Was A Changed Man:

He Had Shock Of White Hair At The Front Of His Head!
There Was Fire In His Eye!
There Was Thunder In His Voice!
There Was Real Purpose In His Walk!

He Is A Changed Man On A Grave Mission
And
As He Said

He Was Not Ever Again Going To Be Diverted!

Hear Him Speak:

Brethren Beloved,
I Owe You An Apology
And I Give It From My Heart
Newly Broken For My Jesus!

I Am Newly Out From Walking In The Dark!

I Had An Encounter With The Lord Of Life!

Brethren,
I Had To Make The Decision:
Walk With The Lord Of Life Solely
And In His Living Light
Or
Dance With The Devil Wholly
And Become A Gross Creature Of The Night!

I Used To Try To Do Both
And By So Doing
I Was Endangering Not Just My Soul
- My Bought And Paid For Soul -
But Your Precious Souls Also!

The Loving Forgiving
Just And Holy Faithful God Of Heaven
Was Not Well-Pleased With Me Because

My Careless Thoughtless Willful Wayward
Utterly Selfish Actions
Were Crucifying The Lord Christ Afresh!

The "I" In Christ Was My Eye!
Eye Had Seen Self And Satisfaction
Success And Security
Power And Prestige
Access And Ascension!

I Was A Pulpit Pimp
And A Temporal Prosperity Purveyor And Purchaser!

I Did Not See The True Pearl Of Great Price!

I Saw The Rich Religious-Pie
And I Whole-Heartedly Desired
More Than One Slice!

To My Great Shame

I Looked Lovingly At You
Spoke Kindly To You
And Cherished Your Association Because
You Made My Bank Balance Look Real Nice!

I Have Confessed My Known Sin
And I Have Given My Soul's Sincere Repentance 

To The Eternal God
And I Have Asked With Many Tears Of Contrition
For His Forgiveness And My Own Soul's Needed Cleansing
And I Sincerely Apologize To You
And Ask For Your Forgiveness
And A Second Chance
To Right My Wrongs
And To Do The Good That The Lord Called Me To Do!

I Have Seen The Light Of Life!
I Believe The Truth That Is The Gospel

And There Is A New And Heavy Burden In My Heart
For The Souls Of Lost Men
And, I 

- Renewed, Remade, Regenerated
Converted To The Lord Christ
And The Way Of Salvation -
Am Eager To Work
To Tell You About The Real God
The Great Controversy
And The Fight For Eternal Life
And Help To Get Us And Keep Us All
On The Strait And Narrow Path
That Will Lead Us All To The Realm Of The Blessed
Where There Is Eternal Peace
And Sweet Rest!

He Ended His Discourse By Humbly Saying:

Lord, I Am Available To You!

Brethren, I Am At Your Disposal!
