God's Building a Church

God’s building a church - I’m helping!
God’s creating a ready people - I’m one!
Jesus is coming soon - I’m waiting!
Bless the Lord, it won’t be very long!

The elements will melt - good gracious!
No more sun - not even the moon!
Soon we’ll gather by that River
We'll walk there - just like the Angels - real soon!

Old things pass away - there is newness!
Newness of life - every day!
Bless God, bless God - I’m a pilgrim!
Walking toward New Jerusalem day by day!

I’m trusting King Jesus - my companion
To cover me as I go through the fray
For this journey is not for the swiftest
Nor is it for the ever so strong!

This journey is for he who needs a Savior
And for him who endures however long
Bless God - He made for us provision!
Bless God - He made for us a great song!

We’re marching to Zion - that Great city
Hail Friend! Join us! Please won’t you come along?!
The Savior is waiting your heart to enter
Please let Him in! He wants you to belong!

There is nothing on this earth that could ever separate you
From His love - the Shepherd of Rest!
Confess your sin, reach for His Hand - He offers
And you shall henceforth be forever blessed!

Dear One, give a ready answer!
He’s knocking!
Dear One, give a ready answer!
He's pleading for you!
Dear One, please answer!
He covers! He blesses!
Let Him in!
Jesus really wants to bless and protect you!

Happy Sabbath!

Today I pray
I sing a glad song
The Angels draw near
The Savior is present
Before Him I bow -
The Lord of The Sabbath
Who blessed me, and how!

Heavenly Father, I thank You, I bless You
And a glad song I raise
Before the Dear Savior who with great joy I praise
For living, for loving, for dying and raising
Again to Your Presence -
The Ancient of  Days
So that I may come boldly
No failing, no fear
To receive of the Blessing
That daily You share.
Thank You, Lord! Amen.

Questions for Christians

Always Seek Knowledge!

Do I look like a Christian?
Do I talk like a Christian?
Do I walk like a Christian?
Do I love as a Christian?
Do I show that Christ is alive and
Well, and living in me, or
Do I make Him cry?

Do my words speak peace, or
Do they cut and consume?
Do they say He is coming, or
Do they only confuse
Those who are seeking a Savior,
A refuge from the storm, or
Do they fill hearts with distrust
And leave the seeker feeling forlorn?

Does my walk speak of Eternity?
Does it make a seeking heart blaze
With a hope that comes from the Eternal
The Ancient, The One of Everlasting Days?
Does my walk lead e’er upward and
Onward into the Light, or
Does my walk speak of a heart that’s blighted and
Always spoiling for a fight?

Do I look like the Christian who
Looks like the Christ of the Cross, or
Do I look like the Christian who’s
Trying her best to be lost, by
Acting in a manner unbefitting
A child of the Great I am
By showing in thought, word, and action
That I’m an unregenerate mere man?

Does my love for my brother
Show that Jesus is my way, or
Do I show by my living that
Satan is carrying sway?
Does my love have a connection
To the Mainline of the Cross, or
Does my love for my fellows give proof of
An unclean spirit ignoring Christ’s suffering and loss?

What worth are you to Jesus?
What worth is Jesus to you?

What worth is a pin that doesn’t?
What worth is a knife that doesn’t cut?
What worth is salt that doesn’t?
What worth is a path untrodden?
What worth is love that doesn’t?
What worth is a bible not read?
What worth is a river that doesn’t flow?
What worth is a heart that’s leaden?
What worth is a life that’s only show?
What worth is a Savior, the One the world refuses to know?
What worth is a Savior, the One we Christians neglect though we say we own?
What worth is a lamp if we fail to light it to see the way?
What worth is the Word, the lamp for our feet, the light for our way in the dark of day?
What worth is the Blood if we don’t accept that it cleans and redeems?
What worth is a mansion in the Kingdom, if we don’t prayer and actively seek to receive it?
What worth is the Cross, if we choose this day to be among the lost?
What worth is the truth to those who never hear it?

What are you worth to Jesus?
What is Jesus worth to you?

I've got the questions!
Have you go any answers?

Romans 12 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Believers are Blessed

 Believers are Blessed

We clothe ourselves with humility
We arm ourselves with prayer
We bow before God as supplicants
We cast on Him every care and seek rest

We seek His will for our lives
We treasure His every word
His stripes are those that heal us
His tears our eyes wash and refresh

He has prepared for us a table
He anoints with oil our heads
He fills our cups to overflowing
He has fashioned us white robes and glittering crowns

We do not want for anything
He is our all and all
He by still waters lead us
We have nothing to fear should we die

He heals us all with His stripes
He doth sin-sick souls restore
He in righteous paths daily lead us
He makes us by green pastures rest

Sin cannot take us away from Him
He paid sin's price for our paths
His mercy and goodness shall follow us
While our lives on this earth shall last

And when at last through the valley
Of death's shadow we seemingly descend on our own
We have nothing to fear in the darkness
For He never leaves us by ourselves, all alone

Soon the trumpet of the Archangel resounding
Shall wake the dead and the living alert
All we who have placed our faith in the Savior

And we shall live in His House for eternity

Because He Lives

Because He Lives

I was enjoying singing a favorite song of mine, Because He Lives, when the following thought came to me. I used the testimony of verse one, and the chorus, of Because He Lives to write my inspiration. Please take a moment to think on it! BJ

God sent His Son
He didn't have to come!
They called Him Jesus
The miracle-worker!
He came to love, heal and forgive
He did it all for love for free!
He bled and died
That was HIS decision!
To buy my pardon
I can't pay Him back!
An empty grave is there to prove
He said it couldn't hold him!
My Savior lives!
He kept His promise to rise again!

I Serve A Risen Savior, so

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Blessed Assurance, Jesus IS Mine!
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Faith, Faith Is The Victory!
Because I know who holds the future
Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!
My life is worth the living just because He lives!

Jesus, My Lord, Will Love Me Forever!
AMEN
