VESPERS AT THE END OF THE SABBATH: Know Your Place!

Let Us Behold With Astonishment 

The Vain Show Put On By Puny People 

As They Impotently Wave Their Stubby, Breakable, Hands 

In The Face Of The Great God Of Glory! 

Beloved, 

The Living God Who Told The Great Waters 

"So Far And No Further!" 

Has Given Mankind The Same Boundary 

Beyond Which He May Not Go! 

Imagine, Then, How We Who Need The Breath Of God For Life

The Clay For Substance

The Food For Sustenance

The Holy Spirit For Comfort And Correction

The Holy Angels For Good Influence And Protection

The Father's House For Home

The Father's Son For Salvation And Redemption

And 

The Word Of God For Hope And For Glory

 Telling Our Maker, Good, And Kind: 

"I'll Do What I Want When I Want To 

And You Can't Stop Me!?!" 

I Encourage You, Dear Ones

To Depart The Society 

And 

The Vicinity Of Such A Person 

Who Speaks As The Fool Who Blithely Says That 

"There Is No God!"

Be Ye Wise! 

Because The Punishment For Sin Is Delayed

It Does Not Mean That It Is Cancelled! 

The Lord's Ways Are Not Our Ways 

And

His Will Will Always Be Done In His Time! 

Accept 

And

Know Your Place 

And

Dare To Stay In Your Lane According To The 

"Thus Saith The Lord!" 

Wherein Is Love, Joy

And 

Perfect Peace! 

Humble Yourself! 

Peace! 

Ingratitude Ain't A Good Look On A Christian!

 

We All Walk About Saying:

"God Is Good All The Time!"

And

Receive The Expected Response 

"All The Time, God Is Good!"

Question Is, Though

Does The Saying Mean Anything

Or Is It Just Code Talk For:

"I'm Just Trying To Make Myself Sound Like The Crowd

So That No One Suspects That 
I'm Totally Cheezed Off At The Lord

For Not Giving Me That Thing That

I Really, Really, Realllllly Wanted Yesterday!"

And

"I Never Get Anything At All That I Want!
Life's Not Fair!"
"Nobody Loves Me!"

These Dear Ones Forget
Ignore Or Misremember That 
We Get Blessings, Gifts, Benefits

Every Moment

Every Hour

Every Day Of Every Year That

We Have The Breath Of God 
Animating These Jars That We Call Flesh And Bone Bodies 

Compliments Of The Creator We Misuse
Abuse, Disregard, Denigrate, Despise

And

Less-Count! 

Ingratitude Is Not A Good Look On A Human

And 

An Even Worse Look On A Christian! 

Brethren, 

There Is Nothing More Egregious

More Annoying

Or More Aggravating Than 
Having To Deal With An Ingrate

A Person Who Doesn't Ever Say "Thanks For Your Kindness!" 

A Person Who Expects To Always Receive Good Gifts

Gives Nothing In Return

And 

Has The Unmitigated Gall To Be Upset 

Because 

The Gift Received Is Not The Gift That 
The Giver Should Have Known That 
The Ungrateful, Unthankful, Soul Truly Wanted! 

Worst Yet

Is 

The Soul Who Dares To Chastise The Giver 

For "Taking Soooo Long!" To Give Them The Much-Desired Gift! 

Beloved, 

Let Us Dare To Make It A Practice To Be Thankful 

And 

Grateful For All Of Our Blessings

And Then 

For Being Able To Give To And Bless Others 

Out Of Our Blessings

Our Good And Perfect Gifts From Our Father In Heaven

The Almighty God! 

Please Remember That 
Not All Gifts Are Available To Taste, See

Touch Or Feel! 

Let Us This Day 

Give Our Dear Father Grateful Thanks 

And 

Praise 

For Faith, Hope, Truth, Mercy

Grace, Provision And Protection

For Jesus Christ Who Saves

For The Comfort Of The Holy Spirit

For The Protection Of The Holy Angels

For The Deed To The Family Home In Glory

For Our Walk Through This Vale Of Tears

For Our Time In The Crucible For The Perfection Of Holy Character

And 

For The Gift Of Prayer That 
Causes The Recipient To Receive Even As He Is Using It! 

Father, 

In Jesus Christ's Holy Name

We Love, Bless, And Thank You

For All You Have Done

Is Doing

And

Shall Do For Us 

Even Right Now:

We Are Telling Everybody

About The Favor That You Show To Us! 

Peace Be Upon Us All!
