VESPERS AT THE END OF THE SABBATH: The Giving Hand Is Never Empty!

I Don't Know About You

But 

I Consider My Day To Be Just Perfect 

When I Receive Extras:

A Pregnant Plantain! 

A Bag Full Of Coupled-Up Cherries 

And 

A Gift Of Goodies That I Would Normally Buy 

But

The Good Lord Supplied 

By The Willing-To-Share Hands Of 

Friends And Family! 

Beloved, 

Are You A Practicing Grateful Person!?! 

Are You Thankful For The Lil' Treats That 

Our Dear Lord Provides To Us Each Day 

Or

Are You Embracing The Ungrateful Heart Of 

The Unreasonable Soul Who Looks For Trouble 

But

Not Blessings!?! 

Never Forget Aka Always Remember That 

Our Attitude Determines Our Altitude! 

The Lord Gives New Mercies, New Blessings, Every Day 

But

Many Of The Visible Ones We Will Never Get To Enjoy 

Because 

We Do Not Choose To Appreciate That 

Little Is Much When God Is In It! 

The Thankful Heart 

Is 

Always Filled 

And

The Giving Hand 

Is 

Never Empty! 

All Of Our Great God's Gifts Are Good, Very Good

But, Alas

We See What We Look For 

And

We Get As We Give! 

I Challenge You To Choose To Be Thankful 

Because 

You Are Blessed To Bless To Be Blessed! 

Pray To Our Father! 

Expect A Blessing! 

Look Up To The Hills! 

Reach Out To The Brethren! 

In-Gather God's Good Gifts! 

Share Your Blessing

And 

Faithfully Repeat! 

The Lord In Zion Reigns

And

He Forgets Not His Own!

Note To Self: 

Ask The Lord To Help Me To Raise Up My Standards 

And

Lift Up My Eyes From Seeing Dirt 

So That I Will Stop Asking Him, My King And My God

For Gifts That Are Not Good For Me

Nor For Privileges That, With The Passage Of Time

Will See Me Turning Away From The Land Of Love And Light 

To Head Toward Me, My, Mine, Myself, 

And 

Misery! 

Beloved, 

When The Lord Says "No!" 

It Is Because He Knows You 

And 

He Can See The End Aka Your End

From Your Beginning! 

When The Lord Say "Yes!" 

It Is Because That Blessed "Yes!" 

Will Bless You Bountifully! 

When The Lord Says "Wait!" 

It Means Not Now 

Because 

Later Aka That Profitable Wait

Will Be Much Better For You! 

When The Lord Of Love Says "Don't Ask Again!" 

It Means Walk With Him Humbly

Patiently, Enduringly 

Because 

His Grace ... His Favor Which You Can't Buy

Is 

Sufficient And Enough For You: 

Trust Him! 

Whether We Receive The Good Gift Today 

Or Ten Years Down The Road

The Good Gift Remains The Good Gift

Because

It Is The Gift Of The Living, Holy, Ever-Faithful

Almighty God Of Grace And Glory! 

Our Father Who Is In Highest Heaven

Is 

The Lord Most High

Giving And Forgiving

Who Personally Loves You Intimately! 

I Beseech Us All To Keep In Mind That 

Saying "Thank You!" For The Good Gift Received 

By The Lord Of Life's Schedule 

Is 

Always Preferable To Having To Ask For Forgiveness 

Because 

The Lord's Perfectly Timed Schedule 

And 

Our Haphazard All-About-Me Agenda

Violently Collided! 

To Willingly Obey 

Is 

Always Better Than Forced Sacrifice 

And

Sacrificing Sinful Self 

Is 

Most Assuredly Always Better Than 

Sacrificing Soul Salvation! 

Almighty God's Good Gifts Are Glorious!
