PRAYER: Father, Please Root Me And Ground Me In Your Word!

 

Help Me, Dear Father, 
To Keep My Jesus As The Anchor For My Soul
To Love  Him By My Willing Obedience
To Run The Race For Life Eternal 
With His Gift Of Enduring Faith 
So That At Journey's End I May Not Be Amongst Those 
Who Shall Wail And Gnash Their Teeth In Bitterest Disappointment 
Because They Are Condemned And Cast Out
Because They Were Not Rooted And Grounded In The Living Word
The Son Of God
Who Saves Repentant Sinners Indeed! 

Father, 
Please Help Me To Look Up To The Lord  Of Life 
And Diligently Follow In The Paths Of His Righteousness 
Even If I Must Walk Alone 
Without The Silken Cords Of The Affection That 
Binds Hearts To Mother, Father, Brother, Sister
Husband, Wife, Children, Friends, Relations And Well-Wishers! 

Please Help Me To Remember That When I Walk With The Lord Christ
Whatever The Circumstance
I Am Blessed, Protected And Provided For 
According To His Riches In Glory! 

Please Pour Out Of Your Sweet Spirit Upon This Trembling Flesh 
And Bless And Keep Me To Keep Living 
By The "Thus Saith The Lord" 
And For My Jesus
For I Surrender My Will To You Freely! 
In Jesus' Holy Name I Humbly Plead! 
I Love You, Lord; I Am Yours!

He Had No False And Prideful Confidence 
To Uselessly Place In Himself To Win The Day!
He Placed His Lively Trust In His Lord
And
His Daily Gift Of Faith Was Rewarded!
