Before The Merchants Monetized Motherhood 

For One Day Of The Year

The Good Lord In His Wisdom 

Commanded That Mothers Be Honored, Well, Every Day! 

There Is A Blessing That 

Attends Those Who Keep The Commandment 

And

Obviously, To The Disobedient, A Curse

And 

So I Beseech Us, Beloved

Keep Operating To Receive The Good Lord's Blessing 

So That There Will Be No Curse In Your Life's Purse! 

There Are Those Amongst Us 

Who Have Recently Laid Their Dear Mothers To Rest 

And 

I Beseech Us Who Still Have Our Mothers Here 

To Hug Them Closer

And 

Whisper Honest Words Of Love In Their Ears! 

Flowers, Chocolates, And Perfumes Last A Little While 

And 

Are For Public Consumption 

But 

Kind Words, Thoughtful Deeds

And 

Loving Care Make Marks That Last The Moment

The Minute, The Hour, Day, Week, Month, And Year

And 

Are Logged In The Books Of Heaven 

Which No Careless Finger May Erase!

Adoptive Mothers

And 

Mothers Just Because

The Lord Jesus Cemented Your High Status

When In His Dying Agonies

He Gave The Care Of His Beloved Mother, Mary

To His Beloved Disciple John! 

Mothers, 

Let's Continue Our Loving Service For The Lord! 

Children, 

Let's Love On Our Mothers Every Moment Of Every Day! 

There Is Nothing Higher Than 

The Eternal God's Holy Law!

YOU CAN'T DIMINISH GOD!

YOU CAN'T DIMINISH GOD!

Sometimes I get so bothered

When I hear people say

That MY God is not a good one

And I should throw Him away!

They say He kills little children

And He took their mothers away

And fathers who were left behind

Well … they just went astray!

They blame Him for wars and famines

They blame Him for poverty

They blame Him for drought and hurricanes

And all manner of awful disease!

Many people try to blame my God

For their own willful ways

And when they get into trouble

They say He's never any good, anyway!

And when I really think on it

I realize right quick

They cannot diminish my God

And they can't turn Him into a Roman tick!

I'm tired of all these accusations

The cursing, the blame, the regrets

I'm standing up for my God, friend

Because He's never failed ME yet!

So you can keep on blaming OUR God

When YOU exercise YOUR own freewill

I'll keep on with Him to the finish

But you can't Him ever diminish!

God's Holy Spirit comforts me

His Holy Angels surround

I gave my God my will and my way

And His keeping of me is truly profound!

My God is the Creator

Sustainer, Redeemer, my Friend

He leads me on this path of life

And I'm onto Glory bound! **BJC**

Why me? and Rescue Workers!

Hello, Again, Dear Friends!

     I hope all is well with you and yours!

    I have a question. How often have you heard sirens passing around your home, or place of work, or when you were out shopping, and it never dawned on you to think of the rescue workers as those who are in need of our prayers?

     Well, there was a time when I heard sirens going by, that they were just that. Sirens going by.

     It was like that for me until just over a year ago when it suddenly entered my consciousness that those sirens were on vehicles carrying sons, daughters, husbands, wives, fathers and mothers, and it gave me pause.

     Now, whenever I hear a siren, I find myself praying for these men and women in the rescue services and, today, I am sharing one of those prayers with you all.

     And then, there is the poem, I Never Asked: Why ME!?  which came about as a result of all the times I wanted to know why me? when things were not going so well, but NEVER when things were going swimmingly. It surely made me think!
