The King Of Earth And Glory

Creator, Provider, Sustainer
Keeper, Healer, Sealer
Guardian, Guide ... And Stay! 

When Jesus Christ Says 
"Come Unto Me!" 
Whether You Are Buck-Naked
Barefooted
Eyes Crusty
Nose Snotty
And 
Smelling Like A High Wind After A Rain Storm
Please Set Aside Your Foolish Pride 
And 
Appear At His Throne! 

When He Says:
"Ask Of Me ...!" 
Whether Your Mouth Is A Ball-Room Before The Ball 
Or Smells Like A Belching Baby's Behind
Open Your Mouth 
And 
With All The Humility That 
Your Faith In Christ Will Produce
Ask Your Redeemer ... Your Forever Friend 
- Who Made And Owns Every Last Thing
Seen And Unseen
Known And Unknown In All Of Creation - 
For What You Need! 

Beloved, 

There Are Things We Could Have 
But 
Do Not Receive 
Because 
We Do Not Ask The Lord For Them: 
He Won't Give Us Those Things 
Without Our Personal Request! 

Let's Up The Standard Of Our Working Faith 
And 
Let Us Go High
Go Deep 
And 
Go Wide 
As We Take The Lord At His Word 
To Let Him Do Great Things For Us Today! 

We Have Nothing To Lose But Our Doubts: 
We Have Glory To Gain! 

Remember ...

The Gift Of Praying 
Is 
A Blank Cashier's Check! 

Ask The Lord ... Who Always Knows What You Need
For What You Need: 
Prove His Love For You Without Fear 
Or 
Shame! 
Dare To Fill In Your Check!

It Wasn't A Game Of Truth ... Or Dare!

Pride Was On The Floor!

Pride Was On The Chair!

Pride Was On The Balcony 

And

They All Heard When Humility Declared:

Pride ... Inordinate Pride 

Goes Before The Fall

Which For You All

Is

Now Here Present!

Enjoy What You're Eating Now

For, Soon,

You Shall Surely Have No More Desire 

To Eat Liarman's Dressed Pheasant!

You Have Nothing To Boast About 

Unless Your Boast Is In The Lord Christ

Who Lived And Died

So That You May Die To Sin And Self

And

Renewed

Live Again

Nevermore To Know

What Foolish Pride Is Again! 

Those Who Ride Vehicles 
Which Have No Protective Cages Around Them 
Wear Helmets To Protect Their Heads 
From Traumatic, Even Fatal, Injury
Unless They Refuse To Wear Them
Because
They Are Heaven-Daring ... Presumptuously Bold
And
Too Proud To Be Wise! 

We Are Mortal ...

We Are In A Warfare 
And 
As Fragile Beings 
Coming Up Against A Malevolent Enemy 
Who Is Working Rabidly 
To Secure Our Eternal Destruction
The Lord Jesus Christ Has Paid For 
And 
Provided To All Mankind
His Can't-Fail Helmet Of Salvation!
Don't Be Contrariwise!

Beloved, 

Possessing The Helmet 
Is 
A Good Thing 
But
Believing It Works 
And
Utilizing It For Safety And Security 
Is 
The Perfect Way To Survive 
And 
Prosper In The Fight For Eternal Life!
Save Your Own Life! 

You Are Not Wrestling

With Flesh And Blood!

Let's Be Wise ...

Jesus Christ Can Save Us All 
But 
He Will Only Save Those Of Us 
Who Are Obedient To His Living Word 
Which Calls Us To His Side 
For Protection

Please Don't Be Prideful

Decorate Your Helmet With The Badges Of The World! 

Be Humble And Obedient
Trust Your Maker

Enduringly Wear Your Helmet Of Salvation 
Even If It Is Uncomfortable
Spoils Your Public Image
And 
Ruins Your Hair-Do! 

Man-Made Helmets Save Lives Which End Anyhow 
But
The Helmet Of Salvation 
Leads To Christ's Eternal Life Of Which There Is No End! 
Obey The Word ... And Sleep In Your Helmet!
