Eating Tin-Foil For Gold Leaf And

Until One Day It Plainly Started To Dawn On Me
That My Way Of Life Was Compromising
And I Was Acting, Behaving, Presenting Myself
Like One Of Those Hairy Lawnmowers That Bleat!
I Feel You, Man!
Been There, Done That!
I Had To Take A Few Hard Knocks
Until I Saw The Sign
Heard The Words
And
Understood The Plan That Was Plain That Could Get Me Out From Under My Shame And Put Me On The Higher Ground Where Peace And Rest And Joy Are Found:
Jesus Christ Saves! The Commandments Are Not Burdensome! "No!" Is An Answer! "Wait!" Doesn't Mean Do Nothing And The Load That Is My Lot Includes My Burden Of Sin For Me ... In Faith To Carry To My Master The Lord Of Life The Good Shepherd The God Of Everything!
All Who Will To Follow Jesus Christ The Lord Must Know And See Themselves As Obedient Sheep Willingly Following After The Master Who Knows Them All By Name By Deed By Need And By Nature!
Our Savior Takes Blessed Care Of His Own!

Goats Are Disobedient, Own-Way, Creatures Who Lead Their Shepherd And If You ... A Sheep In The Safe-Fold Of Almighty God Have Any Goat Parts In You You Need To Give Them Up Now ... Today If You Desire To Be Blessed And Saved!

They Are Known Churls!
Maledictions At Others They Love To Hurl

Their Favorite Expression
Often To Be Heard
Is
"Am I My Brother's Keeper!?!"
To The Flock Of The Living God's Sheep
That They Treat Like A Wandering Wild Goat Herd!
Were You To Hear Them
You Would Be Ashamed
For They Are Self-Serving
And
Do Not The Ways Of The Master Proclaim!
They Lie, Cheat, Steal
Short-Change And Gainsay
And
As For Caring For The Least Of These
The Good Lord's Dear Sheep
They Take The Greatest Pleasure
From Finding Ways
Those Things Designated For Others Covetously For Themselves To Keep!
They Are Not Ashamed To Smooze
To Get What They Choose And
They Are Not Ashamed To Beg
Even If What They Want Is Bootleg! They Have Nothing In Their Character Called Shame And
The Only Thing That Is Certain
I Tell You Plain
Is
That Where They Are Going
Is Going To Be Hotta Flames!
Feed My Sheep!
Feed My Lambs!
These Words Of The Master
To Their Souls Bring No Calm
For Service Requires Sweat
Blood, Love, Consideration
And
Real Tears
And
A Laying Of Burdens
At The Feet Of Him
Who For Our Purchased Souls
Does Sacrificially Care!
They Are All About Self!
Self Is A Known Sinner! The Sinner Sins And
Sin Is A Sore On The Soul And
The Soul Bereft Of The Breath Of Life Is Dead! These Two Are Playing Dead To See What Kind Of Turn-Out They Shall Receive! 'Nuff Said!
Entreaties To Righteousness Falling On Their Ears
Leave Them "Feeling" Deaf:
They Chose Not To Hear The Nice Notes
On Either The Treble Or Bass Cleft! Of Common Christian Decency They Are Totally Bereft!
These Bold Sinners Begrudge The Snails And The Slugs A Walk On The Lord's Free Dirt!
They Forbid Mountain Springs
Free Droplets To Squirt!
They Forbid The Ants
A Fallen Rice Grain To Receive
And
They Cuss Out All Who Dare ... Their Words
God's Great Goodness ... Free To All
Ever To Receive! They Are All About Me, Myself And I! They Love Anything Call Mine! They Consider Themselves Close To Divine And If They Are Not Being Talked About Oh, Deary Me, How They Will Whine! Brethren, Beloved, I'll Tell You A Lil' Secret! These Two Miscreants Fear Always To Be Alone! They Feel Alone! They Do Not Think To Trust In Him Who For Their Personal Sins Did Atone And So They Walk In Uncertainty Trusting Weak And Corruptible Self And Fearful Always Of Other Men's Malignity! Methinks They Need New Hearts Not Made Of Stone!
Dish-Out Does Feel Real Good

Here's A Well-Known Secret ... Things Cannot Satisfy The Soul Be Ye Coward, Timid Or Bold So If You Are Feeling Alone In The Crowd You May Want To Take A Serious Look At The Requirements Of Him Who Shall Come To Earth Again On The Angel-Cloud!

We Say That We Follow Jesus But How Many Of Us Follow Jesus And Always Do Those Things Which Always Please The Father So That We Are Not Left Alone!?! Total Obedience To Almighty God Is A Necessity If We Desire To Enjoy The Benefits And Reap The Rewards Of The Glorious Kingdom! Are You Feeling Alone!?! Then Take A Moment ... Why Those Who Were Saved, Were Saved
And Those Who Were Lost Were Surely Bound For Hell!
For A Moment
I Indulged Rationalization:
I Was No Bigger Sinner Than Yon Brother Sister!
I Tried Justification:
What Did He Want From Me
Who Was A Mere Child Of The Dust!?!
I Next Tried Fatalism:

Father,
I Confess My Well-Known
Well-Loved Sins!
I Give Them Unto You
For I Know To You
They Are Truly Heart-Breaking!
They Have Been Unto Me
Body Blows
Well-Able ... Unchecked
Surely To Destroy My Soul
And, So, I Surrender
I Repent
I'm From Sin Turning Away
And I Am Making A Covenant With You
To Walk In Your Holy Light

Father, You Are In Heaven And I Live Upon The Earth And I Come Before You Because I Believe That You Are God Almighty That Your Word Is True That You Always Answer The Prayer Of Faith And Because I Always Need Your Help! You Have Asked That I Come Boldly To The Throne Of Grace In My Time Of Need And I Shall Always Find Your Help! You Are My Father! Please Lead Me Day By Day Along The Strait, Straight, And Narrow Way!
