We Give Thanks For The Pleasures

The Treasures

The Good Days

The Days Great 

But

Brethren Beloved,

Let Us Dare Today 

To Give Thanks For The Challenges

The Tests

The Trials That By The Worldly-Wise 

We Are Told That We Should Hate! 

PRAYER:

Dear Lord, 

We Humbly Thank You For The Difficulties We Face 

Which We Know Are For The Perfecting Of

Our Christian Character 

Which Will Have Us Ready To Meet You

In Perfect Peace! 

We Are Thankful Always

For Food, Family, And Friendship

And

Even The Few Foes

Who Drive Us To The Throne Of Grace

Into The Hands Of Him Who

Our Every Need Knows! 

Please Remember Our Brethren

By Blood, Faith, And Affection

And

Keep Us All In Your Holy Care 

As We Await The Glad Day Of Our Elevation 

To The Land Of The Blest 

Where We Shall No More Be Reckoned 

As Being Among The Least!

When It Comes To Secret Sin

When Caught Out

They Would A Duppy Roll Over!

Secret Sin

Is

Man's Favorite Kind!

"You Ain't See Me

So I Didn't It Do!"

BUT

Catch A Person

With His Hands In The Stew

AND

His Sinning Is Your Fault

That Bold Sinner Will Argue!

Just As For Open Sin

Confessing Secret Sin

Is Good For The Soul

AND

Making Repentance

Before The Lord

Gets One Out Of The Hands Of The Fraud

BUT

We All Need To Remember

Sin Can't-Never A Secret Be

Because

He Who Sees All

AND

Knows All

Done Mek A Record Of It

AND NOW

You've Got A Black Mark Against You!

I Know

'Cause I Had Me A Few, Too!

"Out Of Darkness 

Into Light!"

Is A Good Word To Remember

To Hold Onto

If We Will Win

This Life's Dread Against-Sin Fight!

God Is Watching!

So Think Twice

Don't Permit Lying Satan

To Mamaguy You!

The Same One Who

Encourages You To Sin

About Your Sin

Will Be Rabidly Talking!

Trust Your Soul

To None But

Jesus Christ The Lord

Doing All That He Has Commanded Us

Will Escape

The Strangulation Cord

And For Daily Bread!

I Thank You That I Have Someplace Safe

Where I Can Lay My Head!

I Thank You, Lord

Assuredly For

The Blessing That Permits Me To Approach As My Lord!

I Thank You, Lord

For Eyes That Permit Me To See A New Day!

I Thank You, Lord

That I Can Bless You With My Prayers!

I Thank You For Life

And That The Life That Is Promised To Come

And Thank You For The Finished Work

That The Holy Christ Has Done!
