Pleasurable Self-Indulgence
And
Undisturbed Self-Indulgence
Cared Not One Wit For Soul-Care Nor Self-Denial
And
They Valiantly Strove To Forget The True And Living God!
To Put It Quite Plainly
These Three Set The Bar Real High When It Came To
Indulging Self-indulgence ... Undisturbed!
They Epitomised Self-Delusion
And
They Were Pleased To See Some Folk Following Them
Some Other Folk Desiring To Follow Them
And
All Blindly Emulating Their Light Grasp
On Things Which Vigilant Christians
Ought To Take To The Lord Christ
In Prayer
Or Prayer And Fasting!
Misguided Thinking ...

- Certain People Even Called Them Moon-Donkeys -
Considered Life To Be "Just For Living!"
AndThe Non-Stop Party
For Having The Good Old Blast!
On The Issue Of Jesus Christ's Gift Of Faith
And
Increasing Faith
They Had No Time Nor Thoughts As Regards
Talking About Faith
Living In Faith
Or Working Their Faith
So Increasing Faith Was Not Even A Blip On Their Radar!
As Was Inevitable

At The Revival Time Crusade - Which Everybody Seemed To Be Attending -
He Gave Them The Length Of His Tongue
Telling Them About Unchecked Self
Ignored Brother

Can't Be Bothered With Other
Soul Lover

Thought Patterns Are Juiced ...

Truth Was A Tear-Head!
Blessings Were Bought!
Belief Was Blighted, Benighted

The Name Of Christ Was Bandied About Like A Curse!
Cleansed Eyesight ...
For The Tripping Trio
Blinding Awareness Of Purchased Soul-Condition
Put All O' Their Behavior Into Instant Focus
And
Finding Help
Became Their Operating Locus!
Suddenly
Truth And Righteousness Were No Longer Hocus Pocus!
Light Was Shining In Dark Places
And
They Could See Of Sordid Past ... Innumerable Traces
Truth Is Often Stranger Than Fiction
And
Without Blinking
They Rapidly Made The Decision That
Base And Brutish Were Their Known And Practiced Predilections!
They Availed Themselves
After A Brief Battle With Fallen Angel
Evil Spirit
And
Damned Demon
They Gracelessly, Fearlessly, Embraced
Soul-Searching
Confession Of Known Sin
Repentance Toward The Father
And
Hungered For
And
Embraced The Daily Gift Of The Faith Of Christ Jesus!
They Finally Recognized
And
Avidly Appreciated
The Unmerited Favor Aka Grace Of The Eternal God!
They Finally Saw Through
The Machinations Of King Fraud!
The True Light ...
Finally, Actually, Really Seeing Through New Eyes
They Indulged No More Random Acts Of Rejecting Truth
No More Living Like A Louse
No More Neglecting The Soul House
No More Operating With Vengeful Spirits
And
Indulging The Gainsaying Joust!
The Cross Of Christ Became Their Crest
And Accepting That There Is Eternal Life With Christ
They Chose Water Baptism
Aka Full Body Immersion!
They Chose The Life Of Light!
They Boldly Changed Sides
And Wittingly Walked The Strait And Narrow Way
Unto Eternal Life!
Broadway No Longer Held Any Appeal
And
They Chose To Indulge In Destroying
The Known-Demonic Device!
Christ's Love Became Their Life
And
Effectively
They Participated Actively
- Against Satan, The One Base - In The Mortal Strife!
They Desire The Glorified Life
And
They Learned To Pray!
Brethren,
As Committed Christ-Followers
We Are Called To Pray Without Ceasing!
We Are To Go To The Lord ... In Faith
- No Doubting -
Consistently, Persistently,
To The Point That, If God Were A Man
And
Able To Be Wearied By Our Constant Cries For Aid
He Would Say,
"Enough Already! Take This!"
Almighty God Is Not A Man

Our Prayers Are Not A Bother!
Our Persistence Says,
"Lord, I Believe!

I Pray For The Children The Old, The Lost, The Lonely! I Pray Even For My Enemies In My Way!
I Pray For The Leaders Of The Church The Family And The Government! I Pray For Peace And For The Coming Of The Lord Soon On His Way!
I Pray For The Outpouring
And For The Indwelling Of The Holy Spirit! I Pray For My Complete Conversion And That Of All The Brethren!
I Pray That I Can Hold Fast To The Hand Of The Holy Jesus And I Pray To Rise Up To Glory When The Last Trumpet Shall Blast!

I Never Considered This Side Of Praying! This Is, Indeed, Something That Is Good!

People Are Happiest Indulging Their Hobbies Always Wanting Just Five Minutes More So If We Numbered Praying As The Hobby Desirable You Can Be Sure People Will Readily Equip Themselves Readily To Talk With The Holy God!

I Was Sitting On The Wayside When I Heard That Jesus Was Passing By! My Heart Reared Up Within Me AND Loudly His Name I Plaintively Cried! Those Standing Between Me And Jesus Urged Vehemently That I Cease His Name To Call BUT Recognising My Sick Condition I More Urgently His Name Did Call! Even Though My Eyes Could Not See Him My Ears Heard When In My Vicinity Jesus The Christ Stopped AND He Called Me To Him AND Asked:
What Do You Want That I Should Do For You?
Much To My Longing Heart's Delight! I Cried Out Unto Jesus With Fervor: Oh, Lord! Let These My Blind Eyes See! AND Jesus Having On Me Great Compassion Gently Touched My Eyes AND Immediately My No More Blind Eyes Clearly Saw Him Who With Alacrity Had Wholly Healed Me! In Joyous Celebration In Great Gratitude For Healing Grace In Fullness Of Heart For God's Favor I Now Readily Follow Jesus For Lack Of Sight Is No Longer Blocking The Way!
