My Heart Is Grateful!
Grateful That The Holy God
Condescends To Hear The Prayers
Of A Mere Mortal
A Child Of The Dust
Like Me!
Lord,
I Listen And Hear
The Voices Of Those Who Long
For The Peace
The Quiet Rest
And The Treasures Of The World
Even As They Are Blessed
Of The Bounties Of The Earth
And
Though Wearied With The Weight
Of Wanting More And More
Are Discontented To Their Very Core!
I Listen, Lord
To Those Who Are Called Poor
Many Of Whom Envy The Rich
Their Obvious Blessings
Wishing That They, Too
Could Have What The Other Has
And Not Realizing That
Having All Is Not In Or Of Itself
A True Blessing!
Father,
I Look At The Apostle Paul
And
I Have Realized Something About Myself!
Whether I Have Little Or Much
I Am Thankful
Blessed
Hopeful
Peaceful
And
I Am At Rest!
Oh, How I Pray That My Brethren
Will Realize The Blessing
Of Peace And Rest In The Lord Christ!
Father,
Help Me
Help Us
To Not Set Our Hopes On The Things
That Pass Away
But To Place Our Hope
On The Blessed Hope
Christ In Us
Our Hope For Glory!
Lord,
You Have Made A Promise
And
In Childlike Trust
I Am Trusting You
For All My Provision!
You Have Stated In The Living Word
That
The Righteous Will Never Be Forsaken
Nor His Seed Be Out Begging For Bread -
Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread
Bless And Keep Us In Your Care
And
Shelter Us In Your Safe Fold
Where Blessed Sheep Are Led!
Lord,
Grant Us Your Grace
Favor Us With Your Rest
Bind Us Up In Your Blessing
And
Lead Us

Unto The Heavenly Realm
In The Day When The Righteous Dead

From Sleep
Lift Up Their Heads!
