When You Measure Yourself By Yourself 

And Compare Yourself To Yourself 

What Are You!?! 

A Fool! 

When A Man Defies, Denies, The Living God 

And Calls Himself God 

And Acts As Though He Is God 

But Does Not Have The Power Of God 

And Cannot Keep Himself Alive 

What Is He!?! 

An Idolatrous, Lying, Fool! 

The Fool Hath Said In His Heart That There Is No God! 

The Fool, Therefore, Is Unwise, Untutored

Unschooled In The Wise Ways Of The Holy God

And 

Suggesting That The Fool Has His Own Sense 

Is 

Oxymoronic In The Extreme! 

Denying Your Own Maker Is Devilish! 

Making Yourself God Is Satanic! 

Encouraging Others To Indulge In 

Heaven-Daring Lawlessness For Kicks, For Thrills 

Is 

Willful Wickedness Writ Large 

And 

Left Unconfessed And Unrepented

Will Be Punished Without The Blessed Benefit Of

Mercy Of The Eternal God! 

Be Ye Wise ...

The Only Measuring Stick Worth Using In This Life 

Is 

The Character Of The Lord Jesus Christ! 

Without Our Lord's Intervention

We Will Walk Around Pridefully 

Showing How Holy We Are When We Are Not: 

Let Us Not Boast About Our Basement-Level Behavior! 

The Prophet Isaiah Believed He Was Holy 

Until He Saw The Lord In His Glory! 

He Became Aware Of His Uncleanness 

And 

His Unworthiness To Be The Servant Of God 

When He Saw Himself In The Light Of Almighty God's Glory! 

Beloved, 

Our God ... The Living God ... Is Compassionate

And 

In The Moment Of Our Truly Seeing Him ... By Faith 

And

Acknowledging That We Are Less Than He Requires 

And

Need All That Our Lord Christ Has To Give Us 

Is

The Time That The Lord Can Work In And On Us To Bless Us 

And

Through Us To Bless Others! 

Self-Praise Is No Praise! 

The Praise Of Man Is A Trap 

And 

Unless We Let Go Of Pride 

And 

Give Our Self Over To The Lord For Him To Do His Saving Work

We Will Pridefully, Arrogantly, Ignorantly

Contentedly Continue Travelling Through Shadows-With-Troubles 

Where The Citizens Measure Themselves By Themselves 

Until We Arrive At Inescapable Torment! 

Please, I Beseech Us All

Let Us Permit The Holy Spirit To Do A Good Work In Us 

By Allowing Him To Work On Us While It Is Yet Day, Today

The Day Of Salvation! 

Let Us Let The Lord Remove Our Iniquity From Us 

And 

Purge Us Of Our Sin 

So That He May Use Us In His Service 

To Bless Others With The Good News That He, Alone, Saves! 

Let Us Really Work For The Lord: 

Untold Blessings Are Guaranteed!

In The Presence Of The Holy God 

What Do You Have ... In And Of Yourself That 

You Can And Would ... Without Shame-Facedness

Without The Grace And Mercy Of 

The Lord Being Showered Upon You!?!

People Are Out And Proud

Plainly And Emphatically Broadcasting 

Who They "Know" Themselves To Be! 

Two Things Are Wrong Up Front: 

Pride Is Of The Devil 

And

Truth Is The Domain Of Almighty God 

In The Person Of The Lord Jesus Christ! 

With That Being Clear

Are You Willing, Ready, And Able To State 

In The Presence Of The Hostile-To-God Crowd That 

You Are A Sinner-Saved

A Child Of God

A Saint Of God And Christ

A Stranger In A Strange Land

A Pilgrim Travelling To The Holy City

A Servant Of The Living God

And

A Student Of The School Of Jesus 

Tired Of This World Of Woe 

And

Thinking, Dreaming, About Your Heavenly Home!?! 

Would You Do It 

With A Gun Aimed At Your Head Or Your Heart!?! 

Beloved, 

Envy, Hate, Pride, Greed, Sorrow

Pain, Disobedience, And Death 

Have A Use-By Aka Expiration Date: 

Love, Joy, Peace, Truth, Faith

Obedience And Everlasting Life Do Not! 

Please Think On These Things 

And 

Dare To Stand Up For Jesus Christ

The Way

The Truth 

And 

The Life Aka Glory For Us! 

Peace! 

Pride! Inordinate Personal Pride!

 

If You Incubate The Sinful Pride Of Satan

You Cannot Have Pride In Christ Jesus

Abiding In Your Person!

Pride Is Pride!

Bite Your Tongue!

Stop Showing Us That You've Been Visiting

Heathens 'R Us

And That You've Picked Up

The Grand Special Of The Day!

Enough Already!

Pride Is Nothing To Joke About!

We're In This Mess 
Because 
A Certain Someone Thought Himself Big Stuff

Bigger Even Than His Maker

And 
He Is All Now Selling His Joy-In-Self Juice

To Men, Women And Children

Be They Rich Or Poor

Free Or Slave

On The Profound Benefits Of

"Promoting Rugged Individualism

And

Directing Personal Elevation!"

Just Like Sin ... Which Pride Is

There Is No Profit In Pride!

Pride Causes Lies!

Lies Cause Hatred!

Hatred Causes Murder!

Murder Leads To Condemnation 

And

Ultimately Eternal Destruction

To Which Pride's Known Instigator

Is 
Ultimately And Currently Headed!

If Pride Does All That

Why Should We Have Pride In Christ Jesus!?!

There Is The Wicked, Self-Serving
Idol-Worshipping, Pride Of Satan

And

Then There Is The Humble, Heartfelt, Worshipful Pride 

That Regenerated Christians
Have In Our Holy God 
And 
Blessed-Forever Creator Jesus Christ The King
Our Faithful, Giving, Forgiving, Blessing Savior And Lord!

Pride Is A Boast
And

We, Christians, Should Justifiably Boast Of Our Lord

Who Is Able To Heal, Seal And Save 

Every Single Human

Past, Present And Future 

Who Chose, Who Is Choosing

And

Who Will Choose The Lord Christ

For Their Eternal Portion!

We Boast Of The Holy One In Whom Is Our Profit!

We Are Creatures

And

We Are Of No Value Outside Of The Lord Christ

In Whom We Live, Breathe, And Have Our Being

Aka Existence!

As The Song-Writer Penned

"We Can't Even Walk Without Jesus Holding Our Hand!"

So, Since Satan Is A Created Being
Just Like Every One Of Us

What's With Him And The Pride Thing!?!

Beloved, That Is Simple:
He Looked At Himself Instead Of At His Creator-God

In Whose Personal Presence He Served

And

He Loved And Preferred What He Saw Of Himself
Instead Of Loving And Preferring Whom He Served

And

He Decided That He Should Be Where His Creator Is Stationed!

That's Stupid!

That's Reality!

Pride Places Its Adherents On The Universe's Throne

And

Prideful Self Arrogantly Refusing To Be Humbled

Demands To Be The Recipient Of The Adulation

Reserved

For ... I'm Repeating Myself

The Eternal, Holy, Loving, Blessing
Forgiving, Known-Almighty, God!

Satan Is A Fraud

As Prophesied 

He Shall Be Brought Down To Hell ...!

We Need To Consider 
The Cities Of The Eden-Like 
Aka Garden Of God Plains! 

Oh, Dear!

Gluttony, Laziness
An Unfeeling Nature

And 

Abominable Sexual Practices 

Led To The Destruction Of Sodom And Gomorrah 
By Almighty God! 

These Same Sins Are Present Within Our Nations Today 

And 

They Must Be Despised 

And 

Condemned By All Those Who Love The Lord Jesus 

And 

Desire To See Our Homelands Prosper And Survive
And
To Receive The Lord In Peace When He Comes Again! 

Sadly, Inevitably
The Ordained Reckoning Is Coming
So Let's Humble Ourselves And Pray

And 

Confess And Turn Away From All Sin Within Ourselves

So That We May Be Blessed And Forever Saved! 

Almighty God Doesn't Play
And He Doesn't Stutter!
He Means Exactly What He Says! 

Almighty God 
Is 
Long-Suffering Toward Us

But

The Great Day Of Small Things

Inexorably Marching Towards Us All!
