LIVING KINGDOM: Converted Christians!?!

Every Converted Christian
HOLDS
Three Positions
In The Kingdom Of God
AND
As Child Of God
Servant Of God
Citizen Of The Household Of God
We Should Be With Christ Of Like Mind!

Wait A Minute!
I'm Confused!
First ... Converted Christian?!
Isn't That An Oxymoron!?!

Actually ... No!
There Is A Biblical Precedent For That!

I'm All Ears!
Do Your Thing, Spray Can ... uh, ahhmm, Bert!

Jesus And Peter Had A Conversation
AND
Jesus Made A Telling Remark
That Should Cause Shock
Give Pause
AND
Encourage All Christians Called To Think
- Seriously Think -
About Our Hoped For Ascendancy
Unto The Great Reward!

WHAT ... Are You Talking About?!

Do You Remember ...
Feed My Sheep
Feed My Lambs
Feed My Sheep?!

Who Could Forget That?!
I Consider That Jesus Christ's Response
To Peter's Three Denials!

You Would Be Right
AND
Peter Understood That!

How Long Did Peter And The Brethren
Walk With
Live With
Eat With
Sleep Together With
Work With The Lord?!

A Grand Total Of
Three And One Half Years
OR
42 Months
OR
1260 Days!

Would You Call Garrulous Peter A Christian?!

Yes, Indeed I Would!
Peter Loved His Master!

Would You Call Peter
A Faithful Working Christian?!

Without A Doubt!

Would You Call Peter ...?!

... What You're Going To Say
Say Fast!
I've Got Far To Go!

Very Well!
Why Did Jesus Say To Peter:

... And When You're Converted
Strengthen Aka Help
The Brethren ...!

... When You're Converted!?!

Gracious ... !
... Merciful Powers ... !
... Lord, Help Us!

Indeed!
Peter, James And John
Went Every Where With
AND YETPeter Was Unconverted
Even Though
He Had Seen The Transfiguration Of His Master
AND
Had Personally Heard The Voice Of Father God!

He'd Seen
The Blind Given Sight
The Deaf Receive Hearing
Multiple Dead Raised To Life
Lepers Made Whole
Lame Made To Walk
Demoniacs Unchained
Captive Sinners Set Free
AND
He, Himself
Was Unconverted!

He Was Still Following Self!
He Was Not Yet In Christ
Living Abundantly!

If He Was Close To Christ
AND
Remained Unconverted
That Says Volumes About Us!

Namely?!

  • A Change Will Come ... If We Remain Faithful
  • Conversion Is A Progressive Work
  • The Converted Soul Is To Help Others
  • We Are Not To Walk In Pride
For
Denial Of The Lord
Is Waiting In The Shadows!
It's A Very Real Thing
AND
Humility Of Spirit
Is A Blessed
Never A Shameful
Thing!

So Much For Crying Lord, Lord!

No Wonder The Lord Said
That Crying His Name
Will Not Get One Into The Kingdom Of Heaven!

Look At These Contrasting Statements
Made Concerning Two Close Companions Of The Lord:

Being Unmoved By The Touch Of His Master
Judas Went Out ... And It Was Night!

Being Forgiven By The Look Of Compassion From His Master
Peter Went Out ... And Wept Bitterly!

I Get It! I Get It!
Judas Went Out Led By Self ...!

... And Betrayed The Lord ...!

... And Died In Darkness ... Lost!

But Peter ...

Peter Denied His Lord
Heard The Cock Crowing
AND
Remembered Jesus' Warning
AND
Looked Around At His Lord
AND
Saw His Lord Looking At Him ...!

... And The Lord's Look Of Compassion
Understanding
Forgiveness
Broke Peter's Sinful Self ...!

... And Peter Went Out
And Cried Bitter Tears Of Confession And Repentance ...!

... And He Was ...!

CONVERTED!!!

Hallelujah!
Peter Became A Soldier In The Army Of The Lord!
Peter's Tears Broke The Back Of The Fraud!
Peter Was No More Brash
BUT
Became Mindful
Gentle Meek
He'd Done His Repentance In Sackcloth And Ashes
AND
He Knew Of A Surety
That The Journey To Eternal Life
Is A Steady Striving Wearying Walk
Not A Brisk Energetic 100 Yard Dash!

You Should Tell That
To The Prosperity Preachers
Who Are In Race For The Believing Man's
Gifts Of Ready Cash!

May The Living God Forgive Them
Even Though They Know What They Are Doing!

Questions for Christians

Always Seek Knowledge!

Do I look like a Christian?
Do I talk like a Christian?
Do I walk like a Christian?
Do I love as a Christian?
Do I show that Christ is alive and
Well, and living in me, or
Do I make Him cry?

Do my words speak peace, or
Do they cut and consume?
Do they say He is coming, or
Do they only confuse
Those who are seeking a Savior,
A refuge from the storm, or
Do they fill hearts with distrust
And leave the seeker feeling forlorn?

Does my walk speak of Eternity?
Does it make a seeking heart blaze
With a hope that comes from the Eternal
The Ancient, The One of Everlasting Days?
Does my walk lead e’er upward and
Onward into the Light, or
Does my walk speak of a heart that’s blighted and
Always spoiling for a fight?

Do I look like the Christian who
Looks like the Christ of the Cross, or
Do I look like the Christian who’s
Trying her best to be lost, by
Acting in a manner unbefitting
A child of the Great I am
By showing in thought, word, and action
That I’m an unregenerate mere man?

Does my love for my brother
Show that Jesus is my way, or
Do I show by my living that
Satan is carrying sway?
Does my love have a connection
To the Mainline of the Cross, or
Does my love for my fellows give proof of
An unclean spirit ignoring Christ’s suffering and loss?

What worth are you to Jesus?
What worth is Jesus to you?

What worth is a pin that doesn’t?
What worth is a knife that doesn’t cut?
What worth is salt that doesn’t?
What worth is a path untrodden?
What worth is love that doesn’t?
What worth is a bible not read?
What worth is a river that doesn’t flow?
What worth is a heart that’s leaden?
What worth is a life that’s only show?
What worth is a Savior, the One the world refuses to know?
What worth is a Savior, the One we Christians neglect though we say we own?
What worth is a lamp if we fail to light it to see the way?
What worth is the Word, the lamp for our feet, the light for our way in the dark of day?
What worth is the Blood if we don’t accept that it cleans and redeems?
What worth is a mansion in the Kingdom, if we don’t prayer and actively seek to receive it?
What worth is the Cross, if we choose this day to be among the lost?
What worth is the truth to those who never hear it?

What are you worth to Jesus?
What is Jesus worth to you?

I've got the questions!
Have you go any answers?

Romans 12 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Prayer for Comfort and Strength with Promises

Oh, Thou who hearest every heartfelt prayer, have mercy on us, Your children.

Father, all the signs are in the air that our days on this earth are fast coming to an end.
Everywhere, Father, we see and hear about our brothers and sisters who are being
hounded out of business, classified domestic terrorists and hate mongers for their
stand on Biblical morality, beaten, and even martyred for their faith
in the Lord, Christ. Have mercy.

Father, the Master told us not let anyone deceive us because there will be those who will
come in His name and will deceive those who have no love for, nor grounding
in the Holy Word, and we beseech You to help us, Father, to stick to
Your Revealed and Preserved Word, and to study and show ourselves approved,
to bury that Word deep in our hearts, to live its precepts, claim its promises,
and live Christ-like lives as those worthy of our recompense.

Father, the day seems very near when the laws of our lands will mark true believers
as enemies of our homelands, and the governments will withdraw their protection,
and will abandon us to mercies of those who desire our destruction, and we plead
for Your mercy on us as we pray for the protection and provision, care and comfort
You promised to us through the little time of Jacob's trouble.

Help us, Lord, to grab hold of the promise and wrestle valiantly in prayer with
He Who Is Faithful. Until then, help us to confess all our sins, whether by omission,
or commission, as Jacob did, so that we may be saved and blessed.

Father, in Isaiah 49, You promised not to forget any of us who have our hope in Jesus,
and we eagerly claim this blessed promise, for we are graven in the palms of His hands.

Father, in Zechariah 2, You promised that whoever touches us,
touch the apple of Your eye, and we, in child-like trust, faith and humility,
claim this promise for we are worthy by the Blood.

Father, have mercy on us, and upon those who are seeking Your Face and,
if there is just one more person that we can reach for Your Kingdom, help us to
seek out and minister to that searching soul as for a lost sheep.

Father, we beseech You to grant us strength to stand firm in the Faith, strength for
our journeying, courage for the way that we must travel, willingness to turn the other
cheek when abused and opposed, to keep a song in our hearts, and to have a soft
answer to turn away the wrath of our foes as we go on Your errands.

Bless us, and keep us in Your care this day, and always, for we love You, Lord,

AMEN
