VESPERS AT THE END OF THE SABBATH: PRAYER: Lord, Please Accept My Gift Of Me To You!

PRAYER:

Father,

We Are Instructed That If We Spent As Much Time

Giving Thanks To You As We Do Asking You For The Things

Which We Deem Necessary For Smooth Sailing In This Life

Things Would Go Better For Us! 

Lord, I Yield

And With A Humble Heart

Knowing How Spiritually Bankrupt I Am

I Give You Thanks And Joyful Praise

And A Glorious Hallelujah! 

Thank You For Your Sacrifice For Me That

Cost You Everything That You Possess

To Give Me Everything True That

I Could Ever Need In This Life For Abundant Living

And Then Life Everlasting! 

I Thought About Giving You A "Thank You!" Gift

But Then I Realized That Nothing Man-Made Would Suffice

And So I Have Decided To Give You Me

Flawed, Foolish, Needy!

My Heart, Lord, Is Spotted With Sin! 

My Eyes Are Cloudy With The Constant Look

At What Is Not Good! 

My Ears Are Constantly Itching And Often Blocked

From Tuning In To The Radio Station Of

The Adversary Of Souls!

My Tongue Utters Praise And Prayers To You

And Then Heaps Curses Upon My Fellow-Man!

My Thoughts Are Regularly Murky, And Often Even Dark

And Most Assuredly Contrary To The Covenant Of Peace That

I Desire To Have With You! 

My Hands, Lord, My Hands Are Those That Would Gladly, Even Gleefully

Work The Demise Of Those Who I Believe Have Offened Me

No Matter How Small

And My Feet, Lord, These Feet Have Not Always Been Shod To Deliver

The Gospel Of Truth, The Gospel Of Grace

But Have Been Quick To Run To Do Evil In Your Holy Sight! 

Father, In The Name Of My Jesus

Your Only Begotten Son

The Door Through Whom I May Enter Your Holy House 

... By Your Grace I Know That By My Faith Exercised

I Will Hold Fast Your Eternal Gift To Me And My Kind ... 

Have Mercy On Me And Accept Me, 

My Gift To You, Though Spotted, Torn, Tossed

Tested, Tried, Tormented, Thinking To Do Evil Continually

But Loving You With My Whole Heart

And Willing To Be Forgiven Of My Sins Which Are Many

And Cleansed From All Unrighteousness!

You Promised To Fix Me

And Fit Me To Enter The Gate

And Into The Glorious City By Right: 

Please Keep Your Promise

And

By Your Sweet Spirit Who Is Leading Me Into All Truth

Help Me To Keep My Promise To Be Counted

Amongst The Faithful, The True, The Overcomers! 

Of Myself, I Am Not Worthy To Come Into Your Presence

But You Told Me To Come Boldly To The Throne Of Grace

To Obtain Mercy And Grace, Unmerited Favor

To Help Me In My Time Of Need! 

Lord, I Need To Give You Me

So Please Keep Your Promise And Honor Your Call-Out To Me

And Help Me To Deliver My Gift To You Though Poor It Is Indeed!

Please Accept It, Father

For My Jesus, Your Beloved

Spilt A Drop Of His Blood, Innocent Indeed, Upon It! 

I Love You: Please Help Me To Love You More!

I Need You: Please Help Me To Need You More!

I Thank You For The Blessings You Have

And Are, And Will Bestow Upon Me: 

Bless Me To Thank You More

And Praise You More

And Pray More

And Uplift You More

So That My Light Will Shine Brighter 

And My Salt Will Not Lose Its Savor, Its Taste, 

That Blesses Me As I Bless Others In Jesus Christ's Holy Name!

My Forever Friend Who Sticks Closer Than A Brother

And I Pray Never The Frowning Judge

I Give You My Free Will 

And, In The Faith Of Jesus Which Cannot Fail

Ask You To Mark And Make The Way That

You Will That I Should Walk!

Help Me To Moment By Moment Walk With And Talk To

And Lean On, And Trust And Obey The Master

And Cooperate With The Holy Spirit! 

Please Help Me To Allow Myself To Be Influenced By The Holy Angels 

Who Are My Guardians Excelling In Strength!

I Beseech You To Help Me Not To Look Back At Those Things

Those Possessions

Or Persons That For My Jesus I Have Walked Away From

For I Remember Lot's Wife!

I Love You: Let My Love To You Show As I Grow In Grace

On My Walk To Your Glory!

Please Help Me Not To Make A Shipwreck Of My Faith

For It Is In Jesus' Name That I Pray And Plead!

I Place My Trembling Hand In Your Hand That

Is My Rock In This Weary Land Called Life!

Aka The Conditions Under Which Others Live

Doing Something About It As, When, How, And Where We Can

Treating Others Like Blood-Relations Because They Are

Speaking Words Of Peace, Upliftment, And Blessing

And

Being Humble 

Because 

It Is The Living, Holy, Way 

Is

The Call Placed On The Lives Of 

All Who Will To See The Lord Jesus, Our Returning King

In Perfect Peace! 

Beloved, 

Behaving Like A Red Hat In A White Hat Parade 

Or As A Light Skirt In A High Wind 

Is Not 

Good, Right, Beneficial Or Profitable To The Sinner 

And 

Definitely Not For The Saints Of God And Christ! 

Think, Dear Ones

And 

Understand, Accept 

And 

Operate Under The Knowledge That 

The Humble Heart, The Heart For Christ

Is 

An Elevator! 

Jesus Christ Was Humble Even Unto Death 

And

He Is The King Of Glory! 

Are We Not Called To Be A Nation Of Kings And Priests

To Be Members Of 

The Family Of Almighty God!?!

Man's Curses, Accusations, And Evil-Doing 

Are Temporary 

But

The Graces And Mercies Of Our Lord Christ

Please Don't Follow Satan 

To The Prepared-For-Him Hell! 

Choose To Live Above The Fray 

Where Fiends, Foes, And Fakers Prey

And Instead

Walk Amongst The Saints Of God And Christ

Faithfully Saying Your Prayers 

Morning, Evening, Noon, And Night! 

An Apple A Day May Keep The Doctor Away 

But

It Is Sure That A Praying, Willing

Obedient, Caring, Loving Heart-For-Christ 

Will Never From The Path Of Righteousness 

Seek To Depart! 

Honor The Lord: 

He Is King 

And 

You Will Not Through Self 

With Satan And Sin 

Want To Have A Fling! 

Choose To Hold To Almighty God's Unchanging Hand 

And 

Send Satan The Stern Message That 

You Are Not

Will Never Be One Of His Mesmerized Fans

Those Wicked Ones Walking Ungodly

Practicing Idolatry! 

Let Satan Roar And Rage: 

Jesus Christ Will Uphold You By His Saving Grace

To Lower Itself In Prayer 
To Ask For Necessary Help And Comfort 
Or Saving Grace! 

Pride Did Not Profit Satan!

Beloved, 

Pride Is A Purgative 
And
A Preventative 
Which Has No Place At All In The Character 
Or Clothes Closet 
Or Medicine Cabinet Of The True Christian 
Committed To Jesus Christ 
And 
His Holy Cause! 

As A Purgative
Pride Washes Out ... Cancels ... Faith! 

Without Faith

It Is Impossible

To Please The Living God!

As A Preventative
Pride Prevents Us From Humbling Ourselves 
Under The Mighty Hand Of Almighty God 
Who Will Lift Up All Of Us ... Who Are Willing
To The Heights Of His Glory 
In His Time! 

A Humble Heart Displays

A Teachable Spirit:

The Lord Can Work With Such!

Truth Sets A Soul Free ...

Pride Sees Self And Not The Savior 
And
If You Can't See Your Savior
You Won't Seek To Become Like Him!

The Friends, The Relations
By Blood, By Faith, By Affection
The Well-Wishers, The Naysayers
The Rulers Of The Nations
The Leaders Of Business
The Poor And Homeless
The Widow, The Ophran
The Helpless, Hapless, The Hopeless
The Sad And The One Alone In The Crowd
The Soul Suffering From Suicidal Ideation
The Soul Murderously Angry At Self And Others
The Soul Looking To Leave The Earth 

In A Blaze Of Unprofitable Glory

A Gift for Jesus!

I wanted to give Jesus a Present
BUT 
I had no money in the Bank!
I really wanted to give Jesus something lovely
BUT
All my finances well and truly really stank!

I thought I would write Him some poetry
Not very original
For it had been done better before!
I thought I would write Him some music
BUT
I had no clue how to write a music score!

I thought I would invite Him to dinner and
I would cook Him a beautiful Gourmet Meal
BUT
That is when I realized
That all I had in the cupboard was Oatmeal!

I thought I would tell Him A Great Story
Of the Pilgrim Progressing in The Way
AND
That is when I realized
That plagiarism just does not pay!

By now,  My Heart was Despairing
And that is when I heard 
The quietly loud knocking at my front door!
I opened
AND
There in my beholding
Was The Very King
For whom I wanted to get a beautiful present
BUT 
For whom I had nothing to show!

Dear Jesus!
My Jesus!
I want to give You a Present
A Present with "Thanks!" from the bottom of My Heart
BUT 
I have no money with which to buy it
AND
My Heart Is Quite Tearing Apart!

Master,  the only thing that I own in this World Outright
Is My Heart
BUT 
It is battered,  bruised,  torn, deceitful,  fickle
Fit only for Hell
AND
I don't want to give You something
That is lacking fill and is just empty shell!

My Child
Your Heart is 
The Gift That I most cherish
When given freely
And not given and then wanted back!
I will make a New Heart for You!
Follow Me - No matter what the World will do!
I love You, Dearest!
I will take care of You If You Do!

Gifts that cost money
Don't really mean much
When they are not accompanied with
A repentant,  Sorry-for-Sin Heart!
So, give Me the broken pieces of Your Heart today, now
And,  soon
In My Mansion of Rest
You'll Eternally stay!"

Not long thereafter
I awoke one bright morning
AND
I noticed a different beating of My Heart!
My Heart was Happy
AND
My Soul Refreshed
For I was In Jesus
SOMEBODY
AND
I could happily sing
For
I Had Received The Promised New Heart from
Jesus Christ 
My Forever Hallelujah King!
