VESPERS AT THE END OF THE SABBATH + The First Condition Of Deliverance

 

Obedience To God Almighty 

Is 

The First Condition Of Deliverance! 

Human Effort Combined With Divine Power 

Produces The Needed Result! 

No Human Effort, No Divine Power! 

The Lord Will Not Do For Any One Of Us 

What He Has ... In His Wisdom

Given To Us The Power To Do For Ourselves 

... And ... 

Truth Be Told

Whether We Want To Hear It Or Accept It Or Not

Is 

That Almighty God 

In The Person Of Our Lord And Savior Jesus Christ The King 

Ain't Our Ride Or Die

Our Homeboy

Or 'My Dog!' 

Let Us Respect The Power, The Position

And 

The Purity Of Our High Priest 

And 

Recognize How Puny We Are 

And 

How Putridly Perilous Is Our Present Plight 

... And ... 

Give The Great And Glorious God Unfeigned Praise 

And 

Proper Prayers 

Aka Prayers From Your Own Perch

Your Own Known Place Of Need And Perplexity 

And 

Not From Base Greed And Non-Sensical Gumption! 

Obey The Lord Of Life And Live! 

Peace!

The Path To Glory

The Christian's Path To Glory Requires Two Things 
Which Many With The Modern Mind-Set Of "Gimme!" 
Find Alien To Their Way Of Thinking 
And 
Being! 

The Way Home To The Lord Christ 
Requires Effort
And
Cooperation
Because
The Lord Is Offering The Gift Of Life Everlasting
- With Joy And Peace -
For Which He Has Infinitely Paid
To Make Available To Us All! 

The Gift 
Is 
There For Us To Take At Will
And 
Open 
And 
Utilize
But
Jesus Christ Will Never Do For Us 
What We Must Do For Ourselves: 
We Must Willingly Cooperate With Him 
Through The Agency ... Through The Working 
Aka The Ministrations Of The Holy Spirit 
Who Leads Us In All Truth! 

Grieve Not The Holy Spirit

By Whom You Are Sealed

Against The Great Day Of

Small Things!

Brethren,

For Us To Reach The Heavenly Home
We Must Express Godly Desire 
And 
Reach For The Extended Holy Hand! 
We Must Open The Free Gift Freely Given
And
We Must Use The Blessed Gift 
In The Manner Intended! 

Let's Remind Ourselves ...

We Can Do All Things 
Through Christ ... Who Strengthens Us 
And
We Must Accept That 
There Is Nothing Impossible With God! 

The Lord Has Done All The Heavy Lifting 
And 
All We Are Required To Do 
Is 
To Be Willing To Work Out Our Own Soul's Salvation 
With Godly Fear 
And 
Trembling! 

With A Little Human Effort
We ... By Faith ...  Must Choose To Cooperate With 
And 
Follow Our Jesus 
As And Where He Leads! 

Remember, Beloved

Anything Worth Having 
Is 
Worth The Work Needed To Acquire it! 
Dare To Yield Your Will To King Jesus: 
Peace With Almighty God 
Is 
The Blessing! 

Only The Obedient

Enduringly Faithful

Child Of The Living God

Will Hear

"Enter Into The Joy Of Thy Lord!"
