I Choose To Exercise My Gift Of Faith

So Please Help Me, Dear Father
To Hear The Word With Gladness
Understand It Because It Is Wisdom
Accept It With A Grateful Heart

And Enduringly Obey It 

Because It Is You, The Holy God, Whom I Dearly Love! 

Your Words To Obey Are Not Suggestions

Your Commands Are Not From The Land Of Perhaps

Your Promises Are Sure

Your Blessings Are Pure And They Cure

And I Never Want Them From My Possession To Lapse! 

In My Own Strength, I Am Weak 

So Help Me To Your Strong And Mighty Arm Forever To Cling 

So That Through The Gates Of Glory

I May Walk In! 

You Have Promised Never To Forsake Me

So Help Me, Please, To Never Forget That 

Wherever You Are Is Safe Harbor

Is Home! 

Please Help Me To Humble Myself! 
Please Help Me To Remain Faithful To You!
