Skilled!

I Do Not Profess To Know How It Is Possible
BUT
Things Get Complicated After That:

Pastor Willing
- Though Lacking In Skill -
Is Full of Faith
AND
He Truly Loves The Word
AND
The Word's Word!
He Loves Him Some Jesus
AND
He Is Ready
- Notice Or Not -
To Preach
AND
Teach 
That Holy Word!

Pastor Skilled Is Ahh Umm ... Skillful
An Able Raconteur
To The Point That His Storytelling
Turns snruT
The Word of God
Into Fables!
Hebrews 13:8 Is Often Muttered
When He Walks By
AND
Things Often Get Ugly
When He Is At The Sacred Desk
The Podium
On The Altar
AND
Well, Ahh
Just About Any Time He Opens Wide 
His Mouth!
Able Is Not A Descriptive
To Be Ascribed To Pastor Skilled!

As For Pastor Able ...

Good Old Pastor Able!
He Knows The Word Of God!
You Can Ask Him Anything!
Only Problem ...
Well, The Problems Were ...
Look ... It Is Like This:

Pastor Able Knows God's Word - No Argument
BUT
He Has Not Got One Iota of Skill 
When It Comes To Teaching
AND
Preaching The Word Of God
AND
Because He Lacks The Requisite Skills
He Has Become Somewhat 
Decidedly 
Well ... Unwilling 
To The Point Of Refusing
To Serve In The Lord's Ripe
- For Harvest -
Fields!

Something Has To Give!

I Met A Good Christian!
He Said That His Name Is Tofu!
Thyme And Parsley Were His Coverings
AND
Powdered Seasonings Were His Shoes!

Three Days Later
I Saw A Good Christian!
He Said That I Knew Him! - His Name Was Tofu!
He Looked Different!
Barbecue Sauce Was His Covering!
AND
Pepper Flakes And Garlic Were His Shoes!

Hmmmm ...!

Today
I Met Up With A Good Christian
Calling Himself ... You Guessed It
Tofu!
AND
I Became A Bit Perplexed
For
His Clothing ... Again
Was New!

I Wondered ...
Is This A Chameleon?!

Clothed In
Potatoes Carrots
Sweet Pepper Thyme Onion
Scallions
Apple Cider Vinegar
Garlic Clove
Paprika
Hot Pepper Sauce
His Clothing Was Best Called A Melange!
His Fragrance Was Quite Aromatic
BUT
Fresh Thyme Sticks Were Between His Toes!
He Was Not Wearing Any Shoes!

I Asked:
Christian? Who Are You?

He Said: 
I Am Just Bland Tofu!

I Replied:
Tofu? Who Are You?
You Seem To Roll With The Times!

He Said:
Of Course!
I'm Bland By Myself
BUT
Put Me With Flavor-Full
AND
I Absorb Their Contents!
I Adapt To My Surroundings
So
My Host Is With Me
Ever Content!

I Gasped!
My Eyes Flared!
My Ears Burned!
My Stomach Churned!
I Closed My Eyes!
I Groaned

I Shook My Head!
