If You Want Joy, Real Joy ...!

I Remember Singing On Sabbath As A Child

"If You Want Joy
Real Joy
Wonderful Joy
Let Jesus Come Into Your Heart!"

The Chorus Continued To Speak About
Our Nights Being Turned To Day
Our Sins Being Washed Away
And
Our Lives Being Made Over Anew!

Beloved,

When A Sentence Starts With An
"If You Want ..."
There Is The Real Possibility That
You Don't Want The Thing On Offer!

For The One Seeking The Lord At This Time
When He Is To Be Found
Honest Questions Seeking Knowledge
To Make The Informed Decision
Regarding The New Life In Christ Are Acceptable!

For The Christian Who Has Had Long Experience With
And
Ample Proof Of
The Goodness, Mercy, Love, And Grace Of The Lord
But, Why, What For, When, Where, And The Like
Have That Sulphurous Stench Of Doubt!

The Lord Jesus Christ Makes It Plain That
He Has Nothing For Those
Who Choose Not To Exercise Faith In Him
And, Instead
Indulge Decimating Doubt!

Are You Living As A Candle
Glowing Or Guttering
According To The Winds Of Change
And
The Flavors Of The Moment
Being Sold At The Fad Farm Or Ego Emporium!?!

Fads Fail
And
Ego Goes Overboard!

Slow, Sure, Steady, With Staying-Power
And
With Saints Sealed And Saved
Is
The Expected End Of The Life Committed To Christ!

Faith Equips All Of Us Who Are Willing
To Endure And Excel
In The Journey To Joy In Jesus
Which Continues Onward And Upward
With The Joyous Celebration
In New Jerusalem!

Joy Is A Precious Gem!
Dare To Find And Hold Your Treasure!

Peace!

HAPPY SABBATH:Prayer: Let The People See

Oh, Father, may your Heavenly Light
Be shed abroad this day!
Let the people see that in
Our Almighty God is Love Everlasting
That Jesus Christ is always The Answer, and
That in The Holy Spirit
There is Peace and Rest forever more. Amen!

Vespers at the End of the Sabbath of The Lover of Your Soul

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He GAVE His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

In this word from the disciple whom Jesus loved, and to whom He gave the greatest Revelation of the Ages, is the greatest love note ever written.

We, as Christians, must not go with the world in the belief that there is a "day" set aside for celebrating love! No!

Our Almighty God gave us the example of what the true celebration of love really is! Sacrifice!

God gave His best for us, so that we might be saved!

Love is not an emotion. Love IS!

Love is not acting. Love is action!

Love is caring enough to do enough to save the beloved.

Jesus Christ, the Lover of our souls, loved us enough to give the very best - His Life - for us!

How is that for love?

Now go and love someone ... in Jesus' Name!

CLOSING GEM:

*****
God is Love
And Love is Life!
Therefore, God is Life!
Seek God for Love in Life!
AMEN.

Happy Sabbath!

Greetings, Dear Ones, and Happy Sabbath to you and to yours!

Another Sabbath Day has arrived where we come together to tabernacle with the Lord, to sing His praises and to rest in Him!

Let us all give thanks to Our Almighty God for this time we can spend together, and for the myriad blessings He, in His Mercy, provided to us throughout the week just past.

The offering today is a poem entitled The Raindrops and the Song of Praise is Be Strong in the Lord. You will also find A Prayer of Thanksgiving!

I pray that you all will have a Blessed Sabbath day!

Be well, and be gloriously blessed,
