Responsible For Our Tawdry Thoughts And Wayward Ways!
Lucifer Had Power, Position, And Prestige
But
He Desired Worship
And
Sowed Discord By Innuendo, Deceit And Outright Lies!
Lucifer Would Have Been Forgiven
If
He Had Chosen Humility And Apology:
He Boldly Chose War And ... Homelessness!
Adam And Eve Were Warned Of The Adversary!
Eve Was Beguiled
But
Adam Indulged Willful Disobedience!
Adam Blamed God And Eve
And
Eve Blamed The Serpent For Their Misfortunes!
They Never Acknowledged Their Failures
And
Never Said "Sorry!"
And
They Were Cast Out Of Paradise!
Beloved,
Willfulness, Disobedience, Pride And Arrogance
Is
A Box Made Of Two Knife-Edged Triangles
Because
Self Is The Trap In The Middle!
The Triangles Poke Hard
And
Cut Clean
And
The Box Is Self-Sealing!
Brethren, Beloved,
Be Wise:
Don't Dig Your Own Grave!
Be Humble:
Pride Is A Holey Roof-Top!
Humbly Approach The Throne Of Grace:
Better Is A Rough Rag With The Lord Christ
Than A Rich Robe With Satan!
Get Your Heart Right With God!
