I Was Tempted, Sorely Tempted

And 

Had At One Point In My Life Joined The Snaking Queue 

To Get My Equity Card! 

One Day, One Of My Bad Days, As I Was Still Waiting

Being Ensnared By The Stories Of Those Who Had Already Made It 

I Started To Zone Out With A Feeling Of Why Bother 

When I Reached The Cross-Road For Off-Broadway! 

It Was There That I Saw A Simply Dressed Soul 

And 

Heard His Soft Voice Calling 

For Those Who Desired To Be Kings And Priests To The Most High God

For Those Who Would Be Pillars In The House Of Almighty God

For Those Who Desired Peace And Rest For Their Weary Souls

And 

For Those Who Would Prefer To Be Door-Men In The House Of God 

Than To Dwell In The Tents Of Wickedness!

For Those Who Were Weary And Troubled

For Those Who Desired To Be Saints Of God And Christ

For Those Who Would Sound The Battle Cry For Life

And 

For Those Who Would Be Part Of The Flock Of Sheep

There Was No Waiting

No Business Managers

No Publicists

No Vultures

No Casting Couches

I Walked To Him! 

That Man At The Entrance Of The Narrow Road Off Broadway 

Called Strait 

Smelled Clean

Embodied Light

Told Truth

And 

Gave Me Something Called Grace And Mercy 

From The Welcome Table Sponsored By Love 

Accompanied By The Comforter! 

I Walked Into Love

Cooperated With The Comforter

And

Oh, Heavenly Father, 

Please Have Mercy On Us Who Are Distressed

Walking In Darkness, Deceived

Doubting The Deliverance Paid For And Promised 

And Provided To Whosoever Sees Their Need

And Is Willing To Reach For The Extended Hand Of Him

Who Is Our Hope, Bringing Help And Healing

And Is The One Door To The Heavenly Home! 

Please Help Us To Not Yield To The Taunts And Temptations Of 

The Naysayers, The Scorners, The Liars

The Licentious, The Proud, The Perverse

And The Affluent And Boldly Willing Sinners 

Who Are Unafraid And Unashamed

And Are Vociferously Calling Others 

To Follow Them To Satan's Planned And Man-Purveyed Ruin! 

Please Unstop Our Ears So That We May Truly Hear Your Truth!

As If That Isn't Bad Enough

They Then Wonder Why They Are Not Happy 

And Don't Have Good Relationships 

With Our Heavenly Father, Their Family And Friends

Food, Their Feelings, And Their Finances! 

If You Don't Get Along With You, Then It Stands To Reason That

You Are Not Going To Get Along With Other People 

And Most Certainly Not With The Holy God!

Brethren, You Can't Love Others

When You Set Yourself Up To Be "God Of All" 

When You're Nothing But A Non-Paying Tenant 

On The Lord's Beautiful Though Despoiled Blue Ball Aka Earth

You Never Have Reason To Believe That 

You, Yourself, Will Be Eventually Judged 

And 

Will Undoubtedly Cry Out For ... Mercy! 

Dear Ones, 

We Will All Do Well To Remember The Adage: 

"Do What You Want Done To You!" 

The Only Being Having No Cause To Receive Mercy 

Is 

He Who Is The Merciful God 

And

The Judge Of All Flesh

And Therefore

We Should Stop Thinking That We Are The Cat's Meow 

And 

Realize That Givers Will Eventually Be Receivers 

Aka Servers Will Get Served!

About What You Dare To Do To Others! 

Our Lord Jesus Sees, Hears

And 

Knows All Things! 

Judgment Day Is Up Ahead:
