Has Recently Been

And 

Is All Now Issuing A Call For Principal Players And Extras 

For Their Spectacular, Their Extravaganza

And 

The Turnout  Is Nothing Short Of A Blowout! 

Everybody Vertical And Ventilating With Visions Of Arriving Is There! 

I Was Tempted, Sorely Tempted

And 

Had At One Point In My Life Joined The Snaking Queue 

To Get My Equity Card! 

One Day, One Of My Bad Days, As I Was Still Waiting 

And 

Being Ensnared By The Stories Of Those Who Had Already Made It 

I Started To Zone Out With A Feeling Of Why Bother 

When I Reached The Cross-Road For Off-Broadway! 

It Was There That I Saw A Simply Dressed Soul 

And 

Heard His Soft Voice Calling 

For Those Who Desired To Be Kings And Priests To The Most High God

For Those Who Would Be Pillars In The House Of Almighty God

For Those Who Desired Peace And Rest For Their Weary Souls

And 

For Those Who Would Prefer To Be Door-Men In The House Of God 

Than To Dwell In The Tents Of Wickedness! 

He Wasn't Finished! 

He Went On To Make The Call 

For Those Who Were Weary And Troubled

For Those Who Desired To Be Saints Of God And Christ

For Those Who Would Sound The Battle Cry For Life

And 

For Those Who Would Be Part Of The Flock Of Sheep 

Who Would Safely Graze Under The Watchful Eye Of 

The Good Shepherd! 

There Was No Waiting

No Call-Backs

No Business Managers

No Publicists

No Vultures

No Casting Couches

No Brunches

No After-Parties

And 

Hallelujah, Jesus

No Users Or Abusers! 

I Walked To Him! 

That Man At The Entrance Of The Narrow Road Off Broadway 

Called Strait 

Smelled Clean

Embodied Light

Told Truth

And 

Gave Me Something Called Grace And Mercy 

From The Welcome Table Sponsored By Love 

Accompanied By The Comforter! 

I Walked Into Love

Cooperated With The Comforter

And 

Knew Peace Who Gave Me The Gift Called Faith 

And 

Promised Me A New Supply Every Day From That Day On 

And 

As Long As I Lived And Had My Being! 

I Was, I Am Amazed ... I Had To Tell You About It! 

Dear One, 

We All Have Great Expections 

But ... And

It Is A Rare Thing For Reality To Meet Expectations! 

I Have Come To Realize That 

I Do Not Desire To Be A Second Class

Even Last Class Citizen 

In The Liar's Third Rate Melodrama! 

I Choose To Have And Be With Peace 

Because 

He Is Love And Loves Me ... Sacrificially! 

The Liar Wants To Sacrifice Me 

But 

My Free-Will Decision Is Clear ... Is Made!
