Greetings, Dear Ones!
I pray that all is well with you and your loved ones!
How often have you found yourself wishing - like in your childhood games - for a "do-over?" Often? Seldom? Never?
Have you wished you could, and have then been glad you can't?
Well, today's poem, short and to the point, treats exactly to that issue! And while we are at it, let us not forget that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! (Hebrews 13:8).
Enjoy!
Yesterday
When
I think of yesterday
There’s
not much I can do,
But
learn from any mistakes I’ve made
And
see what better I can do!
And
if yesterday has no regrets
Of
things that can’t be undone
I
gaze upon my triumphs
And
tell myself: “Yes! Well done!”
Yes,
I know thoughts of yesterday
All
in all can go two ways
But
thankfully in the Master’s Plan
I’ve
a chance for a brand new day!
And
since I can’t erase the past,
I
will not dwell on it,
My
yesterdays, though a part of me
Now
dwell in eternity!
YESTERDAY
is HISTORY!
TODAY
is a GIFT!
TOMORROW
is a MYSTERY!
