Fallen Man Had The Sin Nature

And

In Many Cases

For Want Of A More Polite Expression

Did Not Give A Rat's Well

About Offending Almighty God

Other Men

Nor The Damned Devil

Who Has Set The Stage For Sin In Man

To Enter In!

For Eons

Fallen Man Had Been Clearly

Repeatedly

Constantly Told:

Guard Your Heart!

Your Heart Will Make You Do Things

That Will Hurt You

Body Mind And Spirit

And

Offend The Eternal God

Who Has Given Unto Man

A Cup

With Its Attendant "Fill To Here!" Limit!

A Cup ...With Blessings ... Will Over Flow!

The Cup ... Of Iniquity Aka Planned Sin

Has The-So-Far-And-No-Farther

Cannot-Be-Extended Limit!

Presumptuous Fallen Man

Considered The Whole Thing

A Wonderful Gimmick

And

Set Out To Beat And Exceed It!

His Rationale For Willful Disobedience

And

Willful Sin And Sinful Waywardness

Is

• Almighty God Made Me What I Am! 
• I Didn't Ask To Be Born! 
• I Believe The Word Of The Living God! 
• I Have Free Will: I Freely Choose To Walk In My Own Way! 
• I'm A Dust Bunny Plus Air!
• The Lord Said Whatever I Find To Do, 

  Do It With My Might!
• Jesus Christ Died To Save All Men!
• I Have Faith! 
• I Live Under Grace! 
• I Believe The Word Of The Living God!
• Jesus Christ Must Save Me 
  To Inhabit The Place Which He Has Prepared For Me 
  In My Father's House!

Presumptuous Fallen Man

Could Talk A Peacock Out Of His Tail Feathers

And

He ... He Believes That Because He Can

Decree And Declare

With The Best Prosperity Gospel Christians

That He Has The Lord

The Savior Of Us All

Wrapped Around His Fat, Polished Nail, Pinkie Finger!

One Day ...

Wild Thought Roughly Woke Up Raging Desire!

Raging Desire Prodded Necessary Feelings! 

Necessary Feelings Unleashed

Lit-Up Flowery-Words

Who ... Being Set Free

Ignited The Unchained One

Done Deed!

Not Long Thereafter

In The Night Season ...

Presumptuous Fallen Man

Had A Vision Of His Head Upon His Comfy Bed!

 

He Wanted To Escape

To Run

But 

His Fat Feet Felt Like Lead

And

He Was Left Seeing 

- In All Their Besmirched Glory -

His Self-Righteousness

Self-Esteem

Self-Honor

And

Self-Security!

He Could See The Savior Of Mankind

Hanging ... Again

On The Shameful Tree

And

He Was The One Pounding In The Nails!

He Could See Himself ... Lawless

Casually

Carefully

Dissecting The Law Of God

To Find Ways To Break It ... Confidently!

He Saw The Eternal Law ... In His Life

Bereft

Of Its True Spiritual Power!

He Saw His Portion Of Christian Obedience

In His Heart ... Choking

On The Putrid Smoke Of Disobedience

And

Practically At Death's Door!

He Saw The Accuser Of The Brethren

Satan

The Dragon

The Piercing Serpent

Rejoicing Over His Misdeeds

And

He Saw The Cup

His Cup 

Marked: "Iniquity"

Filled Almost To The Brim

And

He Saw Almighty God's Book Of Remembrance

And

He Saw

The. Lamb's. Book. Of. Life!

And

He Saw Himself In The Fearsome Judgment

And

That Is When He, Broken

Marked

- For The Second Death - 

Started To Cry!

His Wife Heard Him Utter A Blood-Curdling Scream!

People Can Change Direction ...

Life Received An Abrupt And Drastic Change

And

At The Next Church Service

Presumptuous Fallen Man

- With Name Change In Tow -

Gave The Following Testimony:

I Stand Before You Today

Filled With Self-Loathing

Deeply Convicted Of My Sin

And

- For The First Time In My Life -

I Choose To Call Sin

By Its True And Rightful Name!

I Have Learnt My Lesson

And

By God's Great Grace

I'm Changing ... I Have Changed  ... My Outlook

On Living The Christian Life!

Friends, Brethren,

This Is What I Have Discovered:

Living In The Land Of Eye-See

Feeding On The Cake Eye-Want

Leaves One In The Realm Eye-Darkened

To Let Said Eye Stream

As You Curse Your Damnation

Because You Revelled In Eye And I Take

Saying

From Known Sin, I'm Clean!

Such Longings Are Obscene

And

Are Compliments Of The Known Fake

Who

Every Body Who Is Anybody Knows

Will Be Thrown Into The Fire And Brimstone Lake!

It's Just Not Worth The Pain

The Sorrow

The Separation From The Author Of Life

To Defy The Lord Of Life

So, Brethren

The Narrow Way 

On The Straight Path

To Highest Heaven

Please Judiciously Take!

Satan Is The Liar

And

The Father Of Lies! 

Do Not His "Advice"

On His "Do What Thou Wilt

Being The Whole Of The Law"

Take!

By Grace ... Through Faith

I'm By The Eternal God's Mercy

Man Restored!

PRAYER: Lord, Keep My Conscience ...!

Dear Lord,

Grant Unto Me A Conscience

That Is Controlled By the Holy Spirit Of Truth!

Bless Me To Do Your Will

So That I May Spend Eternity With You!

I Do Not A Desire An Overworked Conscience

That Is Ever Feeling Guilty ... Just Because! 

I Desire A Conscience That Feels Guilty

When By Sin 

I Have Broken Your Holy Laws!

Help Me Not To Ignore The Pinpricks Of

My At-Work Conscience

So That I Can Go Off And Be Free

To Sin And Do Wrong With Impunity!

Lord,

Help Me To Ever See My Jesus

As He Paid For My Sin

On That Cruel Cross On Mount Calvary!

Help Me, Lord

Not To Rely On My Feelings

Because Feelings Can Be Convinced

To Anything Do!

Help Me Ever To Accept 

The "Thus Saith The Lord!"

Help Me Not To Make Shipwreck Of My Faith!

I Do Not Want To Be To You A Disgrace!

Remember My Brethren

All The World Around! 

Help Those Who Are Calling! 

Help Them To See Light

So That Before The Dark Night 

You May Be Found!

Bless The Brethren To Bank Their Faith

In Jesus Christ The Lord

And

Help Us All Not To Grieve Away The Holy Spirit

By Ignoring Truth

Walking Blind In The Ways Of The Fraud!

Take Our Hands! 

We Are Reaching Out! 

Take Our Hearts! 

They Are Calling Out!

Take The Beam Out

Make Sweet Our Voices

As Over Sin

By Doing The Right

We Gladly Your Praises

Has A Hand In Your Wallet Or Pocket!

How Would You Feel About A Child 
Who Never 
Humbly Asked 
For Anything 
BUT
Always Aggressively 
Presumptuously 
DEMANDS
That You Provide For Him Her
BUT
Is NEVER Willing 
To Go On Even The Smallest Errand For You!

How Would You Feel About 
Your Child 
Who Never Blesses Your Faithful Giving 
BUT
Who Curses You 
For Not Giving Into Their Very Often 
Foolish 
AND
Dangerous
Wants?

How Would You Really Feel About 
The God Who Gives His Children
Only 
Party Food And Favors 
BUT
Never Life-Sustaining Food?

How Would You Honestly Feel About 
The God Who Would Give 
A Growing Child 
A Homestead In Candy Land 
With The Stipulation That 
That Child Never Go To 
Vegetable Village
Nor To 
Wise Water-Ways
Nor To 
Heaven-Sent Glades?

Think On This:

The Very God Who Desires
To Hear Our Humble Prayers 
AND 
Petitions
IS
The Very Same God
Who Desires To Hear
Our Glorious Praise 
AND
Joyful Words Of Thanksgiving 
Before
When 
AND
After 
He Blesses Us
With The Desires Of Our Hearts!

Almighty God
Is Also
The Same God
Who Desires To Hear Us Say:

"Thank You, Father!"

For His Saving Grace
Protecting Us
From Making The Biggest Mistakes
Of Our Lives
By His Withholding
That Which Was Not
To Our Blessing!

When We Request A Favor
From A Friend
Do We Not Say:

"Thanks ... In Advance!"

Is Not The Living God

Worth Much More

Than This!

Lest We Forget ...

Praise Costs Us Nothing 

AND

Blesses Us Mightily 

In The Realm Of The Great Unknown!

Heaven's

Impossibilities and Teenagers

Greetings, Dear Friends!

     Welcome back - if you have visited before, and Welcome! if this is your first visit!

     Today we have added another new poem, and a new prayer. The new poem is entitled Impossible, and the new prayer is a Prayer for a Wayward Teenager.

     At this time in our lives, we find that many of our young people are severely stressed, bullied, feel aimless, and often lost and lonely. The problem is that when these feelings occur, our young ones feel so overwhelmed that those within the home are the first ones upon whom they take out their frustrations, and they become impossible to handle alone.
