That's Not What I Planted!! Lord, Helpppp!!

I have a little garden
In which I planted several stands
Of  Peas and Belly Pumpkin
And beautiful Yellow Yams
But ... to my consternation
What do you think I beheld?
My Peas were Beans called Runners
My Yams had candy coating on them
And all of my nice Pumpkins
Were wearing red vests down to their stems!

I cried: "Lord, You know I did not plant that
At least I don't know that I did!
Please, Father, please help me!
Show me the wrong that I did!"

"Dear Child, you, My Beloved

I am glad that you finally called

Because your Garden is damaged

And it is facing Recall!

You forgot your Gardening Instructions!

You thought you truly knew best!

You walked in your own knowledge

And now destruction is nigh to manifest!

You started out with Good Seed

But you nurtured them with manure

From Sin and Self-Satisfaction

Envy, Pride, Greed and Good-show!

You watered them with Idolatry

False Witness, Preying - Not Prayer!

You emasculated Good Witness!

You eviscerated God Speed!

You denigrated my Holy Bible!

You elevated Knowledge of Man for your steed!

You paid tribute to Prosperity Gospel

And now you're loving your relationship with

Disbelief and God's Name Be Damned!

Thankfully, your cup is not quite filled up

Else you wouldn't now be calling My Name

My Spirit on you is still working

Or you would be amongst those 

Marked for Eternal Death's Living Flames!

My Child, you so beloved

Let go of the world - it cannot you satisfy!

Let go, let go, and let Me bless and keep you

For you, my Son was crucified, bled and died!

My Yoke - the line for your walking

My Burden - challenges to perfect your own soul

Are easy and light - bear them and I will bear you

To Me where you'll walk on Streets of Gold!

Okay, you may well cry!

But, yes, you will soon laugh!

I gave you My treasures to keep!

Those Tears are there for your cleansing

And the Laughter will help you to heal!

I went to Man for Wisdom
And what do you think I learned?

Love God, and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!
Be wise in your ways, and 
Be for the brethren concerned!

I thought about these varying positions
And, in order to make an informed decision
I asked each for an impact statement!

God said: 

"You'll be poor, peaceful in thought and action, and productive for My Coming Kingdom. 

You will suffer want and persecution but you'll have true riches in Glory! 

You may be called to martyrdom for My Name's Sake but you will gain Eternal Life. 

You may never know Earthly joys but you will know Everlasting Joy in My Eternal Home. 

If you confess that My Son, Jesus Christ, came to Earth and lived and died to save you - and all mankind - from Eternal Death, and was raised from the dead and returned to Our Heavenly Home, and will come again, and if you confess your sins and be baptized, at The Last Day, We will come for you - whether you live or had died - and give you New Life in an immortal, incorruptible body, a Robe of Righteousness, a New Name, a Gold Crown, a Gold Harp, a White Stone, a Victor's Palm, the Water of Life freely, and a Home in Glory, where from you will never roam, nor see want, nor sorrow, nor distress!

Love that takes for itself is not love!

Our Master, The Eternal God, set the standard for us by giving to us His All - His Very Life.

He has stated:

In this corporeal realm, a person may die for another, but that death saves a life now that will die later, and possibly forever at The Judgment!

Many of us give to our partners, spouses, children, bosses, jobs, best friends, pets, hobbies and possessions more love and attention than we will offer to God.

We are, and have been, guilty of this sin - it IS Sin - and we need to repent in sackcloth and ashes i.e., copious tears and prayers for Forgiveness, Mercy and Grace.

We wittingly love wrongly!

 We also wrongly, willingly, love incautiously!

 We also wittingly, willfully, live and love incautiously, and the Pathway to our Living In Peace is paved with If Only, Would Have, Could Have, Should Have, But, Didn't and Regrets!

Nevertheless, because of the Love of God, and our acceptance of His Grace, via His Mercy, we may choose - it IS a choice - to Love Jesus Christ with gay abandon, i.e., without fear and trembling!

Let us 

REORDER 

our priorities!

MAKE 

JESUS FIRST!

Let us, by The Grace of God Which Passes ALL Understanding, cast all our fears aside and Love Jesus wittingly, willingly, willfully and rightly ... Incautiously!

Why, Lord, do the people ignore Bright Right Light but embrace Pulsating Darkness?

Why does it seem that sinning is satisfying and right-doing is demeaning?

Why is hate a full plate and love a dry date?

Why is cruelty elevated and kindness denigrated?

Why is Faith in Jesus called folly but belief in Satan is called wisdom?

Why do we seek vainly after what You have not given unto to us to know?

Why are we not contented with a little bit, some and enough?

Why do we always say "Gimme more!"

Why do we glamorize evil?

Why do we despise goodness and right but appeal to them when evil and wrong hinder and harm?

Why don't we Love You, Lord?

Why do we hate You, Lord?

Why, Lord, are we trying to make You, GOD Almighty, Mighty to Save, a small god?

Why can't certain of us feel the temperature of the times?

Lord, have Mercy

Come soon and displace

All who hate Jesus

Those who have no place for His Love and Grace

Bless all Your Little Children

And from that Good Wheat

Make for Your table, Lord

Loaves, blessed, bountiful, sweet.

Your Rain overflowed

Your Ground was good firm

Their mother, Mayn Lee Prayer, has a twin herself who is called Cahm Lee Prayer.

How come Mayn Lee Prayer and Cahm Lee Prayer have the same last name if they are both married with children?

And the good answer is ...?

Anyway, Goode and Faithful Lorde are the Overseers of the Congregation and they do not stand for nonsense, new-age nuggets, nor one-world common ground foolishness!

They have issued "The Directive" requiring Heartfelt Prayer to be the standard bearer - no exceptions!

There has been much grumbling by the youngsters who want to "go modern," but Steadfast N. Prayer wouldn't allow any deviations, and Re Pente and BeYou Baptized are armed and ready for the fight that is coming.

Never Theless, All Said, Ann Done, Tudee Finish, Gaud S. Gain, and Glory B. Prayzed have joined with Hymm Sing and Gausspel and Gauds Troof at the home of Maintin N.  and Tarree N. Prayer to petition for Power To Overcome.

The triplets, Icahn, Ucahn, and Lettus Prayer sang "God Will Make A Way!" while their father, Daycahn Prayer, played the guitar - their mother Lourdes Prayer said the benediction.

Besides a few black sheep, I am sure Grandfather Godly Prayer would be pleased with his legacy!

We All Want The Crown But ...

A beautiful gown!
A gorgeous crown!
I can handle wearing those but
Holding a cross
Doesn't go with my outfit and

Carrying a cross seems, well ... somehow ... lewd!

Who wants to be sorrowing?
Who wants to feel pain?
Who wants to show neglect
When everybody else and his brother sister shows gain?

Who wants to be hungry?
Who wants to go to jail?
Who wants to be die thirsty
From standing on a rusty nail?

Who wants to be hated
For calling on the Lord
When all around people ignore Him
And enjoy special rewards and live loud?

Who wants to be disowned?
Who wants to have their knowledge disavowed
When all around are people
Who live big eating cracked crab and raw cow?

Who wants to drink dirty water?
Who wants to eat weevil bread?
When Uncle Patty and Aunt Danny
Are pouring champagne on each other's head?

NOBODY IN THEIR RIGHT MIND!

Christ-Follower REALITY Check:

We must come to the realization
That serving the Lord is no cake walk
For He told us quite plainly
That following Him will bring out

See no reason not to God's people afflict
With pain, sorrow, threats and

The ones who have their godship
And who spread hate like roman fleas spread disease!

Hiding Sin?!

I was scheduled to have visitors
But I did not feel like cleaning the house
So I decided that I would hide everything
Behind the sofa, in closets
And just spray - Clean House!

It was then that "it" hit me
That this was what happened with Sin
If you did not clean it right proper
It was always there, hanging out with its, and your, friends!

Boy, did I feel real bad
About what I had intended to do
So I said a quick prayer
And pulled back the rubbish Sin from behind the chair
And opened the closets
And gave the rubbish a breath of Fresh Air!

This whole episode really spoke to the heart of me
It told me that hidden Sin is not hidden at all
For the first time someone opened one of your closets
Hidden Sin will be revealed and you gine ball!

So don't try the hiding old Sin routine
That game has already been played
And the only winner was Satan
That Heathen, That Liar, That Fraud!

When you want to get rid of the old dirt that is defiling
You get out the cleanser that does the work
Same thing with getting rid of old Sin
Call Jesus - The One Who on Calvary Cleaned Our Dirt!

Get Jesus! Just Jesus! Immanuel!
He cleans!
He renews!
He reclaims!
He shelters!
He protects!
He labors!
He Seals!
He Saves!
So that not one repentant sinner is a reject!
