Anything Less

I Am Sorry To Say

Will Have Us Following Satan

The Very Odd 

AND Wicked

Disputing-God Fellow!

God Is Real

AND

Denial Of His Sovereign Will

Will Cause Us All

In Life

AND

At Life To Fail!

God Is Love

BUT

He Is Also The God Of Justice

AND

Mercy, Too!

His Word Is His Character

AND

His Character Is Sacrosanct

AND

Playing The Part Of The Devil's Advocate

Will Get Us Off The List 

Of 

The Citizens Of Heaven

Well And Truly Yanked!

God's Word Is Law

AND

It Contains No Flaw!

So, Please

Give God His Glory

AND

Obey His Law

With Godly Fear And Trembling

AND

Don't Be Like Satan

An Unregenerate Scofflaw!

Let Not Your Eye

Cause You To Walk Wild!

Let Not Your Flesh

Cause You To Evil Surmise!

Let Not The Pride Of Life

Cause You

Like Satan

To Oppose The Giver Of Life

AND THUS 

By Greed

In Dissatisfaction

Cause You

For Eternal Life

To Be Denied!

Help Us, Dear Lord

To Set Aside Self

Seek After Almighty God

Who Offers Us Eternal Life

As A Heavenly Reward!

Lord, Help Us To Keep Our Eyes Free

Of Motes And Beams!

Keep Our Hands Out Of Sin

And

Render Them Upright And Clean!

Please Keep Us Living Right

So That Our Feet Don't Run To Mischief Today

And

Keep Our Hearts Willing

To Do Whatever You Say!

Please Keep Our Ears Open

Ever Able To Hear The Spirit's Call!

Keep Our Minds Sheltered

So That We Won't For

The Rhetoric Of Satan Dressed As Man Fall

And

Please Help Us To Hold Up

The Shield Of Christ's Faith

So That The Fiery Darts Of The Devil

Won't Find On Our Weak Bodies

An Available Dwelling Place!

Lord, Please Help Us

Not To Justify My Self

Not To Make Vain Excuse

To Humbly Confess My Transgressions

So That I Don't

- By Also Adding Thereto The Sin Of Presumption -

My Hope For Heaven Lose!

Father, Help Me

When Someone Lovingly Points Out

That I Am Going Wrong

To Accept In Gratitude The Correction

Speak And Squeak
At One And The Same Time?
Why Are We Speaking Comfort
To The People Who Are Seeking The Only Son Of God To Find
While Our Voice Warns
There Is Vermin In Back Of The Curtains And The Blinds!

Why Are We To The World Speaking Appeal And Repel?

I Will Here Speak For Myself

I Despise That Four-legged Creature That Squeaks
AND
I Tell You
Without Fear Of Contradiction
That A Squeaker Makes My Blood Run Cold
AND
My Response To That Aversion
Is To Make Sure That He Will

He Has Got To Go!

The Same Is The World's Reaction To A Vacillating Christian!

I Have Witnessed "Christians" 
Denouncing Others As Sinners
In Language That Would Make Drunk Sailors Blush!
I Have Also Witnessed The Same Christians
Speak Of Jesus Christ So Beautifully
That There Is A Majestic ... Hush!

They Are Fired Up For God And Valiant And True!

How, Then
Do We Reconcile This Behavior?
Were We Not All Once Sinners Before God?
Did Not Jesus Weep And Suffer And Die For Our Salvation?
If So, Why Are We Now Behaving
Like Agents For The Fraud?

Where Is Our Attitude Of Gratitude?

If I Am Hugging You
I Can't Slap You!
If I Am Slapping You
I Can't You Hug
So Why
In The Name Of Jesus Christ The Righteous
Are We Giving
To A Dying World
A Message That Says That
God's Love For Humans Has Got Glitches And Bugs?!

If We As Christians
Are Not Ready For Prime Time
We Need To Get Back To The Good Book!
We Need To Let The Book Be Our Mirror
To Disclose What In Us Needs A Serious Fixing Up!
We Then Need To Proceed To The Father God
Making Request In Jesus Christ's Name
Bespeaking Ourselves A Reformation By The Holy Spirit
AND NOT
From That Mirror
Just Walk
Walk Away!

Let Us Be Doers Of The Word
Not Hearers Only!
Let Us Not Be Deceitful In Our Ways
For
We Hurt Ourselves
AND
We Hurt Others
Turning Them Away From God
Because In Us
They Are Totally Dismayed!

So Now It Seems

To Be Amongst The Unnecessarily Damned!

BUT ... There's A But!

Almighty God

In His Mercy

Made A Way To Reclaim His Own!

So That By Pure  And Willing Sacrifice

The Wayward Sinners

- Acknowledging Their Need -

Would By Prayer

Be Able To Reach Their Father In His Home

By Using The Name Of The Treasured Jesus

- Once Dead For All But Now Alive -

They Could

By Confession And Repentance

Have Their Dying Souls

By God's Great Grace

Lovingly Revived! 

The Way Is Not Easy!

The Inanimate Road

Is With Disease

Temptation

AND
Beckoning Death

Alive!

There Be Those With Agendas

Who

To Those Walking The Straight And Narrow Path

Will Be Fawning Frenemies!

All The Way Walking To Jesus

Faithful Ones 
Must Keep Their Eyes On The Prize!

Look Not Back Toward The Flesh Pots!

Look Forward To Heaven

Walk As Ones' Wise!

Yield Not To Sin!

Yield Not One Holy Spirit-Inspired Conviction!

Hold On To The Lord Jesus Christ

He's The Only Way To Father God
