Two Gardens Which Ended Up Bearing 
But Bearing Opposite Fruit!
One Was The Garden Of Obedience
And
The Other The Garden Of Disobedience!

That Is A Stupid Statement To Make!

Hold Your Horses
And I Will My Case Make!

Neither Garden Started Out With Those Names!
Neither Garden Knew Of Their Eternal Fame!
Each
Was Impacted By A Man!
Each Man
With A Choice
AND
An Outstretched Hand!

In The Beginning
The Creator God
Created A Garden Eastward In Eden
Called The Garden Of God
In Which He Placed
A Perfect Tender Called Man
AND
Gave Him The Prohibition:

See That Fruit Tree In The Garden's Midst?

It Is To Your Soul Deadly!

Don't Stretch Out Your Hand!

Time Passed
And At The Marker Of The Days
When The Creator God
Would Show Men
How Not To Become Sin's Slaves
There Was The Garden
Gethsemane Called
Where The Originator Of Sin
Taunted The Christ
With The Enormity Of The Sin Of
The Men Of The Fall
Sin Moving As Marauding Lice
AND
That Worthy One
On A Mission From The Father God
In The Agony Of His Sinless Soul
Asked:

Father,  Must I Drink The Full Of This Bowl?

And Then 
Honoring His Father
By Holy Faith
With Humility
In Graceful Obedience
To His Father
Added Softly Steadily And Firmly:

Not My Will, Father

But Thy Will To Me!

By My Obedience, Father

I Shall Return The Lost Children To Thee!

In Eden
Satan Preyed
AND
The Prohibition
Adam Quickly Disobeyed!

In Gethsemane
Satan Preyed
AND
Jesus Christ Prayed
AND
The Holy Commission Obeyed!

In Eden
One Counted Not The Costs
AND
Caused Enormous Loss!

In Gethsemane
One Counted His Costs
AND
Decided That God's Creation Was Worth The Cost
To Have The Chance Not To Be Eternally Lost!

One Garden Began With Life
BUT
Brought Forth Death!

One Garden Caused
The Contemplation Of Death
AND
Bought Life!

It Is Now
Today
AND
Every Man
Must Make His Choice!
Eden Or Gethsemane?
Disobey Or Obey?
Hear The Voice!
BUT ... 
Which Voice?!
What Choice?!

Each Man Has Will!
Each Man Has Way!
Each Man Has Decision
On How His Life He Will Play!

God Says To Man:

The Way To Life

Is Written Plainly In Stone!

Choose The Blessing!

Choose The Cursing!

The Decision Is All Your Own

But Know

That In The Day Of Strife

There Is No Reversing!

Do Not Stake Your Life

On A Future Repentance!

Tomorrow Is Not Yours!

Today Is Acceptable

For This Moment Is Definitely Yours!

If Ye Love  Me

Keep My Commandments!

To Walk Right

Keep Me Ever In Your Sight!

Tomorrow Is Not Promised Today

But

Eternity Is Yours

If You Shall Walk By Faith

The Gardens Of Decision

Are There For Me And For You

And By God's Grace

I Am Daily Walking

In The Garden Of Obedience!

PRAYER: Lord, We Believe Your Word!

Oh, Lord

Great And Glorious

We Come Before You

Hearts Heavy

At The Plight Of Our Nation's People!

Lord, What Is To Become

Of This Prodigal People

Who Relish A Diet Of Pig Swill

And Reject The Lush Banquet

Arrayed On Zion's Hill;

Who Studiously Walk By Blind Sight;

Who Consider The Faith Of Jesus A Pox And A Blight;

Who Wallow In Flights Of Fantasy;

Who Enjoy Playing Pat-A-Cake

In The Whispy Web Of The Fabled Spider Anansi;

Who Thrill At The Experiencing Of The Mind-numbing Pill

And Laugh Uproariously

At All That Is Worthy A Toilet To Fill;

Who Play With The Fraud

And Believe Themselves To Be God;

And Who Consider The Confessed Children Of The Living God

To Be Kin To Demon Frogs?

Lord, Have Mercy Upon Them In Their Distress!

Oh, Lord

We Who Love And Believe In Your Beloved Son

Are Denigrated

And Denied

And Despised

And Abused

And Accused

Because:

We Don't Indulge In Thrills And Spills For Fun;

We Refuse To Play Russian Roulette With The Known Loaded Gun;

We Acknowledge That Sin Has No Degrees

No Matter Its Color

And That It Separates Us From The Holy God

We Daily Seek To Please;

We Know That An Elevating Love Of Self Is No Green Grass

And That It Puts Us In The Position

Of Requiring Your Sending Unto Us A Balaam's Talking Ass;

We Recognize That Self-Medication

Puts Us Up High On A Rotten Tree Limb;

We Refuse To Live To Experience Fleeting Thrills That Will Ultimately Kill;

We Choose To Accept And Know The Creator God Who Lives

Who Loves Us And Who Causes Us To Grow;

And Because

We Choose To Live By The Intangible Faith Of Jesus Christ The King

And Sing Praises To Him As We Look With Great Hope 

For The Sky Break Heralding His Returning!

Father,

Give Unto Us Strength For Our Journey

And Courage For The Way We Must Walk

Even In The Face Of Gross Opposition

To Humbly Keep The Holy Faith

To Be Able To Disagree

And Not Be Disagreeable

As We Share The Truths Of Heavenly Light

And Freely Available Salvation Unto Eternal Life!

Let Not The Spirit Of Fear Overcome Us!

Father,

Pity Us By Your Mercy

Comfort Us With Your Grace

And Let The Indwelling Holy Spirit

Direct Correct And Chide Us

And The Holy Angels Protect Us

Until The Day When In This Fleeting Life

We Have No More A Place!

Oh, Father,

Let Our Love For You Be Not Fair Weather

Neither Let It Be Wasted On The Accursed Other!

Bless Our Faith With Holy Sight

Unto The Day When There Shall Be

No More Night!

In That Day Of The Trumpet Of God

Call Us Forth From Death

For We Believe Your Holy Promises

Running After Fool's Gold

Your Talking Has No Walking

Even If You Walked Straight
In Front Of Men

To Claim The Reward

Add Endurance
To The Ideals

For With The Grace Of God
