Why Is It So Easy 
For Pretty People 
With Power, Cash And Connections 
To Be Able To Tell 
AND
Convince 
Rank And File
Poor And Polite People 
That Sin Is In
That Certain Sin Is Sanctioned 
AND
Called Scrumptiously Good 
By The Non-Existent 
BUT
Thoroughly Convenient-To-Utilize God
AND
Have Them Believe
AND
Indulge Therein 
Without A Thought, A Care, Or A Concern?
Do You Not Smell A Sulphurous Fraud?

I Know That You Are God

I Know That Without Doubt!

Help Me To Walk As I Believe

Even If In The Eyes Of The World

That Makes Me

To Them

An Out-Of-Step-With-Modernity Sleaze!

Father,

I Prefer That They Be Offended At Me

Than For Me To Offend You

For In You

I Have The Blooded-Promises

At Which I Cannot Afford To Sneeze!

You Are Holy!

You Are My God, True!

I Hold On To My Privilege
Of Being Able To Visit With You
