There's An Old Expression That Was Used To Express Faith
In Someone's Hand Of Provision:
"Wash Out De Pot And Wait 'Til 'e Come!"
Which Said That Whenever That Person Came
Something To Put In The Pot Was Coming As Opposed To:
"Wash De Pot And Tu'n Um Down!"
Which Meant You Had No Expectation Of A Blessing!
Beloved,
Our Faith, Our Trust In Jesus Christ's Love
Should Always Be Of The Sort That
Is
As A Washed, Cleansed, Pot
Waiting To Be Filled
Because
We Know That Whenever Jesus Comes
There Will Be A Blessing For Us!
Furthermore ...
Let's Not Forget That Our Receipt Of God's Blessings
Is Not
Dependent Upon Jesus' Physical Presence:
Angels, Doves, Ravens, People
And Yes
Even The Very Devil
And
His Demons Who All Want To Destroy You
Deliver To You!
Remember Job
And
Joseph
And
Gratefully Remember
Jesus' Journey To Death That Brought Us Salvation
And
Eternal Life:
Evil Was Turned Into Great Good!
Please Dare To Wear Your Faith In Almighty God
On Your Sleeve On Your Good Days
And
On Your Face And Tongue
On Your Terrible, Awful, Really Bad Days!
Remember, Remember
Don't Ever Forget ...
Faith
Is
A Daily Gift Of Free Fuel In And For Your Heart:
Keep Your Engine Running!
Remember, Brethren Greatly Beloved, That
Our Almighty God Equips Us
To Do What He Asks Us To Do
So Dare, Dare, Dare ... Without Ungodly Fear
To Use Your Gift Of Faith ... For This Day
Right Now!
Jesus Christ Is Our Only Peace:
Lean On Him Solely
And
Be Blessed Wholly!
Help Me, Dear Father, To Keep My Eye Firmly Fixed On The Prize: Home With The Lord Christ In Glory!
