Neither Nobody 

Nor His Brother, Sister, Father, Friend

Want To Wait On Anybody For Anything 

Because 

Waiting Is For Saps, Stooges

The Unconnected

And 

The Financially Challenged! 

Okaaay! 

Beloved, 

Our Text Starts With A "But" 

Which Tells Us Clearly That 

Those Who Do Not Wait Upon The Lord

Shall Not Have Their Strength Renewed

Shall Not Acquire Eagle's Wings

Shall Not Be Able To Run 

Because 

They Will Be Weary

And 

Will Not Be Able To Walk 

Because 

They Are Fainting From Weakness! 

How Very Interesting! 

Dear Ones, 

Paying Someone To Do Your Waiting For You 

Does Not Hold Water 

In The Economy Of Almighty God! 

Waiting On The Lord Generates Patience

Enhances Endurance

And 

Solidifies Faith Which We, Each, Shall Surely Need 

If 

We Are To Enter ... By Right

The Eternal City Of The Great God 

Who Provides For His People 

Before 

The Need Is Expressed Or Experienced! 

Please, I Beseech Us All

Remember That Waiting On The Lord 

Is 

Preparation 

Which Is The Key To Every Victory 

Worth Claiming And Celebrating! 

Be Wise 

And 

Wait On The Lord Jesus Christ! 

Wait On The Lord Jesus Christ

And 

Watch For His Coming! 

Watch For The Lord's Coming

And 

Work With Him For The Salvation Of Others! 

And

Please Work With The Lord Now 

Because 

Night Is Coming When No Man

Be They Connected

Financially Stable

Or Cash-Poor 

Can Drive A Stroke To Save His Own Life

Or The Life Of Another! 

Dare, Beloved, To Wait On Your Sure Blessings: 

Wait On Jesus Christ The Lord ... Yourself!

Our Big-Picture Station
Our Storehouse Of Plenty Good Food 
For Our Body, Our Beliefs And Our Laborings
And 
Our Forever Home 
Opened To Accept Whosoever Will 
From Wheresoever You May Come! 

Our Lord Is A Known Quantity
Always The Same
Not Given To Fickleness
Unchanging ... Unchangeable
Our Faithful Pastor
Our Perfect Parent
And
Our Very Much Needed Great Physician! 

Beloved, 

There Aren't, Nor Ever Will Be, Any Immortal Sinners
And
We Will Never Live Long Enough 
- Be It In Time Or In Eternity - 
To Find Out All That Jesus Christ Is Doing
Has Done

Will Do For Us Personally! 

Our Lord Christ 
Is 
The Big God Filling The Immensity Of Eternity

He Is Real And Righteous

Returning For Those Who Choose Him 
As Their Sun, Moon And Stars

That For Soul Salvation

I Really Need A Surety For Security!

Jehovah, Hallelujah ...

The Lord Provides!

The Lord Protects!

He Is Prophet, High Priest And Conquering King! 

He Is The Law Giver

The Sin-Forgiver!

He Is Our Only Help

Our Guardian
And

Our Guide!

He Gives Good Gifts To All Living

But

To His Obedient People
He Does His Choicest Gifts Provide!

The Lord Bids Us Come: We Will Not Be Denied!

We Will Be Tried

But

His Hand Of Salvation

To Our Earnest Effort Is Tied:

He Gives 

But

We Must Expend Effort To Accept

By Saying:

Yes, Lord!

I Accept!

I Am Willing To Be Healed

And

Cleansed!

Use Me, Lord!

I Am Willing To Work!

Guide Me, Lord!

I Am Willing To Walk!

Help Me So That My Service To

And

For You

Is Not A Whole Lot Of Long Talk!

The Lesson That Must Be Learned ...

Waiting 

Does Not Sit Well With Us Selfish Beings 

Who Thrive On Instant Gratification!

Being Courageous When Our Mortal Eyes 

Can Only See Present Defeat 

Is 

Practically Impossible

And

Being Strong 

When Your Heart Is Trembling In Ungodly Fear 

- Because You Messed Up By Previously Doing "It" Your Way -

Isn't Going To Happen! 

Buuut ... 

When The God Of Grace

Your Father In Heaven, Says:

"Be Not Dismayed!

Trust Me!

I Am Here

And

I Will Bless And Keep You 

Because

You Are The Apple Of My Eye!" 

We Can Believe Him 

Because 

He Loves Us 

And 

He Is Faithful! 

He Can't Make Mistakes!

We Can Take The Lord Jesus Christ

At His Living, Holy, Word 

Because 

He Is Able To Do All That He Says He Will Do! 

His Mission To Calvary Was A Glorious Success:

It Caused Him Agony 

And 

Shed His Innocent Blood

And

Purchased For Us Eternal

In The Realms Of The Blessed In Heaven Above!

Praise The Lord ...

We Serve The All-Knowing

All-Seeing

Ever-Present

All-Feeling

Eternal God: He Knows The Answers! 

Let Us Wholly ... With Willing Obedience

Enduring Faith

Solely Lean On Him

Unwaveringly Trust Him 

So That We Will Be Eternally Blessed!

Our God, Holy, Cannot Lie!

Human Wisdom

Foolishness To Almighty God

Deny His Love

Repulse His Presence
