All Throughout Holy Writ
Is
The Constant Refrain
"Be Strong!
Be Of Good Courage!
Do Not Fear!"
The Lord Jesus Says To Us:
"Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled
Neither Let It Be Afraid!"
And
We Are Encouraged To
"Trust In The Lord With All Thy Strength!
Pray Without Ceasing!
Let Your Requests Be Made Known Unto God!"
Beloved,
All Who Wait Upon The Lord Our God
Shall Have Their Strength Renewed!
We Who Wait Upon The Lord Of Glory
Shall Be Like Mount Zion
Unshakeable
Unmovable!
Let Us Prayerfully Meditate On The Fact That
Too Often We Faithfully Wait On The Lord
Until
We Reach The Border Of The Promised Land!
We Forget Who Has Brought Us
"Safely Thus Far!"
And
We Start To Trust Our Own Lying Sight
And
Self-Deceived Understanding!
We Forget That The Lord Says
"Walk In Faith!"
We Forget That The Wisdom Of Man
Is
Foolishness To Almighty God!
We Forget Whose We Are
And
Who It Is That Goes Before Us
And
We Turn Back To The Desert Of Sin
When The Lord Would Have Parted The Waters
- Even The Waters Of Strife -
And
Made Dry Ground For Us
To Enter The Goodly Land Of Total Peace
And
Perfect Rest!
Our God Is Just And Faithful
So Forsake Not His Ways:
Walk Holy
- According To His Sovereign Holy Will -
And
Be Daily Blessed
And
Eternally Saved!
There Is No Peace
For
The Willing Sin-Slave!
